What is a Project?

“A Project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product or service” - PMI (Project Management Institute) Body of Knowledge

• Application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements. - PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)


• Is a detailed definition of an organization’s approach to managing the Project Life Cycle.

Post Project Phase - Overview

• Discontinues activities of the project in an orderly, controlled manner that includes a review of the project processes and outcomes.
