How to get to the University of Limerick Air Travel Arriving by Plane to Shannon Airport Limerick city is serviced by Shannon Airport, which has regular flights from a number of European and North American destinations. There is a direct bus link between the Airport and the University, run by citylink. The bus timetable is available here https://www.eireagle.com, and please note that there may be a delay between your flight landing and the bus departure time. The national bus company, Bus Eireann, runs a regular bus service between the Airport and Limerick city centre, though not directly to the University. Please note that there is no taxi rank at the Airport, so ensure to book a taxi prior to your arrival. This service operates to and from Dublin Airport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can get a bus at Zone 2 in the airport for €5 then a quick and easy change at the Red Cow stop to the Dublin Coach service travelling to Limerick (€17).
