Advisor’s Main Duties
• Guiding students in their training journey .
• Help students by answering their questions, giving them feedback in a timely manner to improve their writing skills.
• Help student and guide them in choosing appropriate projects according to their training site.
• Discuss ideas to develop a system which may be useful to student’s training site.

Monthly Reports
• Monthly Reports are (6 documents) written by student.
• Read carefully monthly reports and contact your student, send your feed back, guide him/her to improve his/her writing.
• Grade every monthly report (out of 15 marks) and At the end of the COOP period calculate the average.

Midpoint Evaluation
• Punctually receive the Midpoint evaluation (after 14 weeks) from the training site supervisor.
• The evaluation should be signed and sealed by the site supervisor.
• Calculate the mark for each evaluation (see example next slide)

• The work-site visits are scheduled to do so approximately mid-way through the students’ internship period. • If you are visiting any student who is not your direct advisee, please talk to the student’s direct advisor and discuss the student’s progress. Ask to see some of his Monthly reports so that you can have enough to talk about when you meet the student. • The site visit form should be signed and sealed by the site supervisor.

• The first section (A) is dedicated to describe the student’s activities and responsibilities
• The second section (B) is dedicated to evaluate Intern’s General Performance

• The final report should be submitted as draft and you need to revise it and give helpful hints to students to enhance and improve their reports.
• Encourage your student to follow the guidelines .

• Evaluation of final report will be conducted by two examiners along with the advisor.
• Criteria for evaluation will be sent to you and published to students later.

• Will be held after finishing coop training within a period of time assigned by coop unit.
• Encourage your students to improve their presentation skills.

• Make sure you receive hard and/or soft copies of the Monthly reports, Mid and Final evaluations punctually from the student or site supervisor. • Make sure that all documents (reports and evaluations) are signed and stamped from training site. • Fill the Advisor Progress Report (EX06) attached with this mail with appropriate marks (Give F if the report/Evaluation is not received). • Submit the Advisor Progress Report to the coop coordinator not later than three days after the mentioned deadlines.
