University of Genoa Partnerships:

159 agreements of academic cooperation with foreign Universities in 54 countriesworldwide;

Bilateral Agreements for students, faculty and staff mobility with more than 500 Universities in 33 European countries;

14 Networks, Associations, International Organisations.

Developing cultural exchanges and international cooperation is one of the main objectives of University of

Genoa.

By cooperating with foreign institutions, University of Genoa promotes activities aimed at increasing

educational, scientific and cultural exchanges.

Promotion and support to the internationalization process of University of Genoa are carried out through:

� Academic Cooperation activities with foreign universities to organise joint study programs, to promote

scholarship for research / training development in partner University, to increase the exchange of

professors, researchers, students and technical and administrative personnel, to enhance cooperation in the

field of scientific research;

� EU programmes;

� Programmes promoted by MIUR (Ministry of University and Research) and MAE (Ministry of ForeignAffairs);

� Implementation of double/joint degrees.

EHEF: funded by the European Commission’s Asia-Link Programme, is a series of European Higher

Education Fairs in seven countries, for students interested in studying in Europe, and of Asia-Link Symposia, for

European and Asian higher education professionals wishing to enhance cooperation.

University of Genoa has been appointed by the European Commission as National Coordinating Structurefor Italy.

EDUCATURK:

Fairs in Turkey: Ankara, Izmir andIstanbul (October 2009 &February 2010). Educaturk Fairscombine local and internationalexhibitors, making it the idealvenue at which to foster strong,professional relationships.

EUROPOSGRADOS:

a series of fairs in South America,focusing on postgraduate studiesin Europe. (Santiago de Chile in2006, Buenos Aires in 2009, 2010and 2012).

ROAD SHOW:

is part of the “Invest your Talentin Italy” programme, supported bythe Italian Ministry of ForeignAffairs and by the Italian Ministryfor Economic Development.Itreaches India and Turkey with thefollowing stages:Istanbul, Mumbai,Hyerabad, Bangalore, Chennai,Calcutta.
