Students were to notify the office by May 31st, 2018 if there were any conflicts with their assessment times. Term Three and Final report cards will be distributed during homeroom on: Thursday June 28th, 2018 from 11:00-11:30am. In addition to report cards, students will receive important notices and may also receive anecdotal subject reports that parents should review. Unclaimed reports cards will be available for pick up in the main school office throughout the summer vacation. Please check the website for the adjusted summer schedule, the report cards will not be mailed. Further to a paper copy, an electronic copy of student’s report cards will be published to their MyEducation BC account. Please see the last page for instructions and important information regarding MyEducation BC accounts. If you have any questions regarding your child’s progress, you may contact their subject teachers or counsellor directly via email. All staff contacts can be found on our school website. Please be aware that during the summer break staff are not obligated to check email. As a friendly reminder, School Cash Online will now be offered as the preferred method of payment for all school fees. Refer to the notice your child received with their report card. You can register by following the steps on: https://vsb.schoolcashonline.com. Please login at your earliest convenience as it is important all lost items & fees owing are settled each school year. Reminder to returning students: School starts Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 at 9:00am. On the first day of school, Homeroom Lists will be posted outside of the office. Students will go immediately to their homeroom for an orientation where they will receive their timetable along with a variety of information and forms to complete. The orientation will be short and is approximately 1 hour. The next day school will resume full time from 8:40am-3:03pm. Due to our extensive wait-list it is imperative that you contact the school office (604-713-8258) as soon as possible if your plans change and your child will not be attending University Hill Secondary School. If your child is not able to be back by September 4th, please complete the “Late Return Form” and submit it to the office or your child’s space will be given to someone else on the waitlist. MyEducation BC Family Portal Login Please note the following about the MyEducation BC Family Portal Login. Report Cards will be published onto the MyEducation BC Family Portal on Thursday, June 22nd,, by 3:30 PM. This will include a term mark, final mark work habit and comment for most classes. This online report cards will be available until July 31st, 2018. The Family Portal account is a shared account between student and parent/guardian. Please ensure that any change in password is shared amongst users (student and parent/guardians) as this will lower the chances for an account becoming disabled due to invalid logins.
