FERC Approved Tres Amigas’ Application For Market‐Based Rates

• Tres Amigas was granted authority by FERC to sell transmission services through the superstation at rates determined by market forcesforces.

• Obtaining this authority was essential because Tres Amigas does not have captive customers to whom it can assign the cost of its p gfacility.

• Tres Amigas will now hold an open season auction to sell i i i h i d b d h i bidtransmission rights to interested customers based on their bids.

• Tres Amigas was also granted the right to negotiate bilateral contracts with anchor customers in lieu of selling transmission
