Unit 4: Creative Media Production Management Project Log

07/05/13Today I made two brainstorms of ideas for my final major project; I then wrote an

analysis for further detail of each brainstorm.

08/05/13Today I selected my choice of project from my brainstorms and wrote a selection

and justification for it, then I put together a mood board and I have drawn my mock-up of the idea.

10/05/13Today I have received all my peer feedback of my mock up, after doing I analysed

the feedback and made adaptations to my idea

14/05/13. I have now moved onto my audience research

specifying on my audience’s age gender socio-economics and demographics. On this day I also managed to

finished off my audience research and I specified my exact target audience and researched into them in detail.

15/05/13Today I looked into my market and my competitors, equipment, skills,

project management, content base and the codes and constraints towards my production I wrote and finished an essay with all this

information.

17/05/13Today I started planning my pitch, after receiving a brief which was for a

chance of someone investing into my production. I worked out what I wanted my pitch to look like and I decided to make it lively and have add a dance routine and make a video and also all the logistics of my pitch

such as budget, location, etc.

21/05/13Today I decided to start practising my dance routine for my pitch, I

gathered two of my classmate and we started observing and practising some Beyoncé dance moves, we would plan to do this again on the

6/6/13 to go over the steps again before the pitch day.

07/05/13Today I presented my pitch, which went very well and as organised. My pitch

was creative and definitely got my investors attention and interest. I am now going to start my pre-production for my production and get filming!

14/6/13Today I wrote and uploaded all my pre-production and made my pre-production

booklet, I then called and arranged to start filming my music video next week Thursday

18th June.19/6/13Today I did all my filming everything from my actors performances to the locations and weather could not have gone any better. Everything went to plan and I

am extremely happy with all the footage I managed to get.  

24/6/13The editing of my production went very well. I managed to edit it in time and the process was easy as I had a lot of great footage to work with.
