Hue
refers to
the name
of the
color and
its
meaning:
Warm /
Cool
Is an element made up of three distinct qualities:
hue, intensity and value.
Value
Value
Is the relative degree of
lightness or darkness of a
given color and is created by
the amount of light reflected
from an object´s surface.
Color
Intensity / Saturation
The brightness or dullness of
a hue. A color described as
highly saturated /intensity
looks vivid and pure; a hue
of low saturation/intensity
may look a little muddy or
dark.
White: Tint
Black: Shade
Gray: Tone

the edges or contours of an object
