When an infinitive follows the conjugated verb, the direct object pronoun can be placed the conjugated verb OR be to the end of the infinitive.

Quiero comprar . (I want to buy black shoes)

We replace with the direct object pronoun .quiero comprar. (I want to buy them.)

orQuiero comprar . (I want to buy them)

• If the direct object pronoun comes before the conjugated verb, add no before the pronoun to make the sentence negative: No la quiero. No la quiero comprar.

• If the direct object pronoun it attached to an infinitive, add no before the conjugated verb to make the sentence negative:

No quiero comprarla.
