Mountain, 9800 feet) via the ridge on its southeast side. The rock was very poor in the lower part but became a fine granite for the upper por­tion. We also climbed Toss-up Peak (9400 feet) one mile to the southwest and Midway M ountain two miles to the south. Midway was climbed by its north ridge. This appears as unnam ed C in CAJ Volume 55, Page 11. After these ascents, we crossed the pass between Toss-up and Midway, descending 4000 feet to Windy Creek, then ascending to the pass leading over to N orm an Wood Creek.
