Most TV and radio channels are ree to air, however some TV and radio/music c
hannels are available on a
subscription basis and can only be enjoyed via a Conditional Access componen
t. The Conditional Access
component is a remov
able Smartcard.
1. Inserting a CI-Module (with Smartca
rd)
A CI-Module looks like a PC map (PCMCIA) or lapto
ps. There are dif erent kinds
o CI-Modules, suitable or
dif erent coding system
s; Irdeto, Conax and more. Additionally to the CI-Module, a Smartcard is needed to
decode the channels.

permanently so you can playback the recorded programme at any time. For m

Adjusting the Recording End Time

tton while recording to adjust the recording end time. Y

sotware version

4. No or poor sound
• Check that your AV cable is connected correctly.
• Check the volume levels o your TV set and the product.

in the AV menu.
5. Remote control does not operate.

2. Select Installation and press OK button.
3. Enter your password (Deault = 0000)
4. Select Deault Setting and press OK button.
5. Select YES
and press OK button.
6. Enter your password (Deault = 0000)
Note: The receiver will then restart and search or the channels again.
