ULSTEIN BRIDGE™ consists of modular consoles for flexibility and easy installation. Ulstein Modular Bridge Consoles can easily be adapted to the customer’s wishes to create an optimum bridge platform for most vessel types. All deliveries from ULSTEIN comply with requirements from the major classification societies. PRE-INSTALLEDSeparate console base frames enable the customer to pre-install most of the installation, and connect consoles at a late stage of the installation process. All modules are narrower than 740 mm, and will fit through the bridge door. This reduces risk of damage to consoles and mounted equipment in the installation process, and improves workers’ access.

SIMPLIFYING SERVICE AND INSTALLATIONExtensive pre-installation simplifies the installation process, as well as achieving minimal cabling, installation and commissioning risks. The modular design provides flexibility for upgrades and conversions and reduces costs when e.g. new equipment is to be installed, due to easy access and demountable top cutout plate.

‘ONE STOP’ SOLUTIONULSTEIN delivers a complete package for bridge instrumentation, from antennas to user interface and bottom equipment. All system integration for ULSTEIN delivered equipment is completed, while interfaces to external equipment are prepared

MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY WITH MODULAR DESIGN

An ULSTEIN BRIDGE™ delivery inludes all equipment and consoles delivered as a complete and fully functional package, including all from antennas to user interface. OPERATOR CHAIR The operator chair is a centre for manoeuvring and operating the vessel from aft bridge. It is mounted on flush deck rails and is electrically adjustable.

AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT Including required console equipment for emergency stop, pumps, dimming and lights.

UPS AND POWER SUPPLYCommon UPS and power supply system for bridge equipment, according to class.

NAVIGATIONIncluding multifunctional operator stations (Integrated bridge) for ECDIS, radar, autopilot and conning. Also included GPS, Gyros, VDR, Echo sounder, and other equipment according to class and customer requirements.

COMMUNICATIONIncluded required GMDSS equipment, Sat-C, telephones and radios according to all class and customer requirements, including helideck and ice class.
