INVITATION LETTER
Dear Friends, The UIPM – Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne, together with the Argentine Modern Pentathlon Federation, has the pleasure of inviting a delegation of your country to participate in the UIPM 2015 Youth A World Championships to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 1 September to 6 September 2015 according to the following programme (timetable subject to change):

Note: during the break days of women and men, cultural days were held, the LOC will provide the necessary transportation for planned activities
COMPETITION RULES
The competition will be carried out according to the UIPM Rules. Facilities of Military Academy (Colegio Militar de la Nacion) Swimming: 33m indoor swimming pool / 6 lanes Fencing: 9 pistes indoor / 1 piste outdoor Combined Event: 36+4 Hybrid laser targets (Manufacturer: Simpower); grass surface. PISTOLS TESTS They will happen in the Military Academy and Hotels. All pistols will be tested. 1 September for the Women and 2 September for the Men. Information will be published in the hotels regarding the timing and location of the pistol tests. ACCOMMODATION

TRANSPORT
Transportation from Ezeiza Airport -‐ Ministro Pistarini Airport to the official hotel and the return journey is only guaranteed if flight information is provided in the registration system in good time and prior to the deadline. Transportation from the official hotel to the venues for athletes will be according to the competition programme.
FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
o 100 € for a double room per night per person (or USD equivalent)
o 120 € for a single room per night per person
This price includes full board accommodation, local transportation from/to the event and shuttle from/to Buenos Aires International Airport, Buquebus, Domestical Airport.
Delegations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay an accreditation fee per participant (athlete, coach or official) to the LOC. In accordance with UIPM Rule 1.15.2, the amount of the Accreditation fee is set at 50€ per day per person with a minimum payment of 4
days (200€). For this, we will provide lunch packets for the competition days and allow access to official transportation between the competition hotel and competition sites.
By 25 July 2015, a non-‐refundable 30 percent deposit must be sent to the LOC after which you will receive an invoice for the remainder of the total cost for your delegation.
The remaining 70% can be paid in cash upon arrival.
If full payment on arrival is not made, them the team will not be allowed to participate

DEADLINES
Delegations are kindly reminded that the UIPM Online registration system is obligatory. The online system will be open from 15 June 2015. All information must be submitted, including flight information, pistol serial numbers, accommodation bookings, etc. by 25 July 2015. Any changes after this must be sent by email to the organiser. Following closure of the registration system on 25 July 2015, a NF must enter the competition with the confirmed number of athletes and officials, only names of participants could be subject to change. Any failure to take part after having sent their final entries will pay a fine of 600 EUR to the UIPM. We would appreciate early confirmation of your intention to participate or not and submit this by email to before 20 June 2015. If we do not receive complete information of your delegation prior to closure of the registration system or we do not receive your Delegation’s deposit payment, then we will consider your delegation as non-‐participating. Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid Athletes License. Registration is not possible without a License Number. If an athlete does not have a license they will not be allowed to take part in the competition. INSURANCE
According to UIPM Rules all members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility financial or other, for any loss, injury or illness of any member of the delegation. VISAS & VACCINATIONS
Visiting NFs should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into Argentina prior travelling to the event. The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. Firearms licenses are a legal requirement when bringing air and CO2 pistols (cylinders for the laser pistols) into Argentina for competition purposes. So, please note the pistol model and serial number clearly in the registration system in order to make the necessary Entering and Exiting licenses. GENERAL INFORMATION
• All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition. Please also bring a CD of your national anthem and a national flag (192 × 128cm).
