2.WorldChoralChampionshipwillbeheld:

• inyear2019inTokyo(Japan)on26thJuly2019• inyear2020inRimini(Italy)on16thSeptember2020• inyear2021inKrakow(Poland)on12th-13thJune2021• inyear2022inTaipei(Taiwan)on1st-2ndAugust2022• CalendaroftheChampionshipswillbeupdatedannually.

3.TheWorldChoralChampionshipisopentothechoirsthatarethewinnersoftheGrandPrix,onthepreviousyear,atthefestivalslistedinpoint1.a)Thismeans,forinstance,thattheparticipantsatWorldChoralChampionship2019inTokyowillbetheGrandPrixwinnersof:-RiminiInternationalChoralCompetition2018(Rimini,Italy)http://www.riminichoral.it-InternationalKrakowChoirFestivalCracoviaCantans2018(Krakow,Poland)www.krakowchoirfestival.pl-TaipeiInternationalChoralCompetition2018(Taipei,Taiwan)http://www.ticc.tw-TokyoInternationalChoirCompetition2018(Tokyo,Japan)https://www.ticctokyo.icot.or.jp/en+b)TheWorldChoralChampionship2020willbeopenforthe2019GrandPrixwinnersofabovementionedfestivalsc)TheWorldChoralChampionship2021willbeopenforthe2020GrandPrixwinnersofabovementionedfestivalsd)TheWorldChoralChampionship2022willbeopenforthe2021GrandPrixwinnersofabovementionedfestivalsandsoon….Underexceptionalcircumstances,asubstitutechoirmaybecalled.AssoonasachoirhasbeenqualifiedbyoneoftheCompetitionmembers,itcannotbequalifiedagaininthesameyearbyanotherCompetitionmember.4.EachparticipantchoirattheWorldChoralChampionshipwillprepareachoralmusicprogram lastingbetween25and30minutes,consistingofseveralpieces,selectedwiththefollowingcriteria:

• Atleast1songof19thcenturyorearlier.• Atleast1songfrom20th-21thcenturycomposer.• Atleast1songwiththetextinLatin.• Only1songcanbeaccompaniedbyinstrument(s)

5.TheWorldChoralChampionshipwillbejudgedbytheJurypanelofatleast5Jurymembers.Thejurywilltakeintoaccount:-PitchandIntonation-Rhythm-Interpretationandfidelitytothescore-Soundqualityandblending-ArtisticImpression

ThejurywillNOTtakeintoaccount:dance,choreography,costumes.6. The best choir will receive the title “World Choral Champion”, theWorld Choral Championship Trophy and amoneyprizeof5000,00EUR.TheamountmightbesubjecttotaxaccordingtolocalruleswheretheChampionshipistakingplace.7. The choirs admitted to each edition of World Choral Championship will receive from the organizers freeaccommodation, meals and local transportations (local airport transfers and transfers for singing/rehearsals) formaximum50members,andfor2nights(3days)inthetowninwhichthechampionshipisheldthatparticularyear.TheinternationalflightoranyothermeanoftransportationtotheWorldChoralChampionshipisorganizedandpaidindividuallybytheparticipantchoirs.8.TherulesofWorldChoralChampionshipdoNOTchangeanyrulesofthepartnerfestivalsandcompetitions.9.AllthechoirsthattakepartintheWCCmustparticipatewiththesamenumberofchoristersthattheyhadforthequalificationcontest.Howeveramarginof10%moreorlessofthisnumberofchoristersisallowed(enlargedtothenearestinteger:decimalsfrom1to5godownandfrom6to9goup),withaminimumof12choristers.Inanycase50singersisthemaximumnumberofsingerswhowillreceivefreehospitality.Iftheselimitsarenotrespectedthechoirwillbeautomaticallydisqualified.10. The Choirs taking part atWorld Choral Championship shall inform about their participation at least 6monthsbefore the Championship. Theywill send to theWCC organization the chosen program (in order of performance),photoandotherdetails.11.OrganizerofeachWorldChoralChampionshiphastherighttoask,freeofcharge,foradditionalperformancesofthecompetingchoirs.Theseadditionalperformancesshouldbeorganizedafterthecompetitioninfrontofthejury.Each choir shall not change the agreed plan of staying (e.g. earlier departure) at World Choral Championship,regardlesstheresults.12.Organizersreceivefromthechoirsthefullrightstofreelyusetherecordings,videoandpicturesmadeduringtheWorldChoralChampionshipandthesearenosubjectofanyfurtherclaimbythechoirs.MaciejPrzerwa-DirectorofInternationalKrakowChoirFestivalCracoviaCantansKoMatsushita-DirectorofTokyoInternationalChoirCompetitionJohnnyKu-DirectorofTaipeiInternationalChoralCompetitionAndreaAngelini-DirectorofRiminiInternationalChoralCompetition
