    Dcar Connie:

Thank you 1'0s the information 011 the tclcphone this afternoon. As I understand it, your check of maintenance records indicates the water stains discovered in 946 West Campus Lane in the 4/29/93 physical inspection resulted from watcr entry prior to the last round of complex-wide rcpairs, and so there are no known active problems with watcr entry.

Thank you for also agreeing to invcs~igatc item number 128 in the report, "ponding and blistering" of the ilat part of ~ h c roof. I look forward to receiving your letter summarizing the status of this and the above watcr issues.

    Sincerely,

Our avaluation of major syetems is both v i sual an& functional provided power and/or fuel 1 3 supplied to the component. Idantifying or testing for the presence of asbestos ox other potentially hazardous materials i s not w i t h i n the scope of thie report. Judging the euff iciency of water flow in plunbing or the cooling efficiency of af r conditioning is a eubjectfv~ evaluation, therefore, we only note n poor condition if, in the inspectorts opinion, the adequacy seems to be less than normal. We urge you to evaluate these system8 prior to closing.
