The terms and conditions as indicated below may be noted carefully and compliedwith while submitting the quotation with reference to this enquiry. The party who agrees tothe said terms and conditions, are requested to quote their lowest rates. Non adherenceof terms and conditions may result in rejection of the quotation/tender.

1 The quotation shall be submitted strictly in accordance with Performa enclosed atAnnexure-va".

2 The quotation should be signed by the authorized person and his full name andstatus should be indicated below his signature. All pages of quotation be signedwith office seal. Offers from tenderer, if found incomplete will be rejected.

3 Overwriting, cutting/erasing, if any, should clearly be indicated and should beauthenticated/attested by the tenderer. You are required to furnish a certificateto the effect that" no cutting/overwriting in the rates etc. have been made."clone with the quotation

4 Quotation will not be accepted if they are received after the due date and timeas specified in the quotation i.e. 2:30 P.M. on 21.10.2015. NCERTwill not beresponsible for any postal delay.

5 All quotation must be accompanied by earnest money deposit (EMD) ofRs.20,000j- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) in the shape of Demand Draft/BankersCheque which should be drawn in favour of Secretary, NCERTand payable at SBI,NCERTBranch New Delhi. The EMD is liable to be forfeited, if the tendererwithdraw, amend, impair the quotation in any respect. No interest will be paid onEMD. EMDwill be refunded to the tenderers after the finalisation of this tenderingprocess.

6. Thesuccessful bidder will be required to deposit the performance security @ 10% ofthe total purchase value in the form of bank guarantee/DD/BG in favour ofSecretary, NCERTand payable at New Delhi. The performance security will remainvalid for the 18 months from the date of successful installation of the furniture itemsin the NCERT,for which no interest will be paid thereof. In case of failure to submitthe performance security, the EMD amount deposited by the bidder shall beforfeited without any correspondence in the matter.

7 Thesuccessful tenderer shall not sublet/tronsfer/ossiqn the Contract further.8 The tender should be addressed to Sr.StoresOfficer, Central Store of S&SSection,

Workshop Building, NCERTSri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016 within thespecified date & time i.e. up to 2.30 pm on 21.10.2015.

9 The right of acceptance of quotation will restwith the Council. NCERTis not boundto accept the lowest quotation and reservesthe right to reject or partially acceptany or all the tender(s) received without cssionino any reasons

10 The rates should be quoted in figures as well as in words and should be inclusive of'---- all taxes/levies. Extracharges, if any, shall be borne by the tenderer.

11 No advance payment will be made. Thosewho don't accept the above termsand conditions need not quote their rates. The tenderer demanding advancepayment in full or part are liable to be rejected without any notice

12 Full payment will be made against the duly-stamped pre-receipted bill (intriplicate) after receipt of goods in good and working condition.

13 In case the last day of receipt of quotation isdeclared a holiday on any account,the tenders will be received on the following working day.

14 The tenderer must be available at his postal address furnished in the tender. Anychange in the address must be communicated to the NCERTwell in time.

15 The goods purchased will be under guarantee/warranty for a period of 12 monthsfrom the date of successful installation/in working condition at the respectivelocations in NCERT.However, if the any items of the furniture are found defectiveduring the inspection, the same shall have to be replaced by you free of cost.

16 The firm will not lodge any claim with regard to interest for delay in settlement of hisdues due to any administrative reasons

17. It may also be noted that furniture items of Godrej/Rockworth/Howorth/Geekenmake will be accepted only to NCERT.The bidder should be either originalmanufacturer or the authorized dealer of the OEMIwho groduce memorandum Q

As per the minutes, the committee has found that the abovementioned firms have the adequate infrastructure/space for themanufacturing of furniture items and therefore recommended thatthe Limited Tender Inquiry under GFR-151 may be sent to abovementioned firms with the website publicity for the procurement of 16Nos. Steel Dinning Chairs and 15 Nos. Steel Dining Tables inaccordance with the specification finalised by the committee.However the minutes of the committee may be seen in file, for whichDS(S&S}being the competent authority under DFPR-31 is requested toaccord approval of the minutes of the committee so as to furtheraction in line with the recommendation of the committee may betaken accordingly.
