Name: How long have you been involved with Pennine Juniors? 3 years

How long have you been managing a team? 3 years

What is your football background? Played a lot when I was younger for lots of different teams in the

area at various levels.

What do you find challenging when managing a team? Keeping everyone happy.

What do you like most about managing a team? Teaching the boys new skills and seeing them

develop as a team and as people.

What has been your funniest/best/most memorable moment? Getting to the final of the cup last

year. It was our first competitive tournament and the boys did fantastically well. They were very

unlucky to lost by a single goal in the final.

Describe your team: A really nice group of boys that play exciting attack minded football.

What are you focusing on in training at the moment? Technique first and foremost but with a focus

on possession.

Tell us about your best game to date and why it was the best: The semi-final of the cup last year.

We were playing what everyone thought was the best team in the league. We beat them playing

some fantastic football and scored a great winner followed by an amazing last minute save to win it.

What advice/tips would you give to young, up and coming footballers? Have a ball with you

everywhere you go and always work on your touch.
