Characteristics of school libraries:
1.Most familiar library.2.Called the library media centre or school
library multimedia centre.3.It is where many young people first learn
about the library4.Purpose is to support the school curriculum.5.Provide materials for you research project
such as reference books, biographies, journals and multimedia resources.
Characteristics of public libraries:
1. Open to everyone, free of charge.2. Designed to serve their communities3. Costs lots of money to keep a library open.
