Twitter Assignment:

! For this assignment, we were required to have or create a twitter. We had to follow and

read tweets of four educational twitter, including our professor. After following these twitters,

we reflected upon what it was like to follow these people, and what they were like.

!Twitter Assignment Reflection:

! Being very familiar with Twitter, I knew that this assignment would be simple to

understand and carryout. After following the twitters initially, I looked back and reviewed them,

to make sure that I would be interested in them. I am glad to say that I have actually looked into

many things that these people tweeted. This assignment could fall under the language pillar of

21st century education due to the communication aspect. I can now see how, how helpful an

education twitter can be. I will use a Twitter in my career as an educator similar to how I plan to

use Facebook. It believe that having students follow your professional twitter would be a great

resource for older children. Parents of children of all ages would be able to enjoy the benefits of

my twitter. I might change the aspect of a public twitter, to make it private, in order to accept

anyone that wished to follow my twitter. But I know that even following these different people,

there are many different ways to use a Twitter in education. There are possibilities that range

from advice for other educators, to tips in studying for finals. As an elementary educator, I feel as

if a twitter keeping up with daily work and activities for parents would be great. It can and will

be an extremely helpful tool in my career.
