please call the parish office. We are in great need of your help at this time. Training and ongoing support would be provided for all ministries. You need only a willingness to serve, a comfort level with your own faith, and an ability to work well with others. The pay for these positions is $0, the benefits are heavenly!

New Beginnings “Approaching the Annulment Process”. Learn about what the Catholic Church teaches about marriage, separation/divorce and annulments. Guest Speak-er is Fr. Alex Laschuk. Light refresh-ments will be served. St. Clare of Assisi Church, 150 St. Francis St., Wood-bridge, Monday November 26, 2018 @ 7 pm. Registration: 416-587-7687.

The Passport Office You have likely noticed the new “Passport Office” located at the back of the church and perhaps you are wondering

what this is all about. This is a new part of our First Eucharist and Confir-mation preparation programme as of last year. We have “issued” passports to all the children preparing for sacra-ments as they make the “journey” to the celebration of the sacrament. Chil-dren get their passports stamped as they engage in the various disciples of Christian life. There are five catego-ries of discipleship that we are asking the children to pay attention to this year: belonging to a Christian commu-nity, engaging in communal worship on Sundays, developing a personal prayer and devotional life, taking on service in the Church and community and learning about their faith. As they get their passports stamped in all of these areas, the children and their par-ents are able to reflect on and deepen their faith life. Please encourage the children in this important year of preparation. If you would like to help in the passport office by stamping the children’s passports, please call Chris-tine at the office.
