Finding Your Roots continues to be a popular series leading off primetime with new episodes Tuesday nights at 8:00pm. I am happy to report that Henry

Louis Gates Jr. already is working on the next season of the show, adjusting production plans to ensure the safety of the guests, host and staff. You may have also noticed changes from the regular format in Antiques Roadshow, as they work to bring you new episodes while keeping everyone’s health the highest priority. While it is good news to hear Finding Your Roots and Antiques Roadshow can make appropriate modifications, it is more difficult for dramas to do the same. There are several series, including Father Brown and Shakespeare & Hathaway, that have ground production to a halt and continue to wait. Unfortunately, Call the Midwife has been delayed; we plan to present repeats of the series this spring and hope to premiere new episodes later this fall.

We’re honored to bring you several titles in celebration of Black History Month. This includes a new series from (the very busy) Henry Louis Gates Jr. The Black Church: This Is Our Story, This Is Our Song airs over two nights begin-ning February 16. The four-hour docu-mentary reveals how Black people have worshipped and, through their spiritual journeys, improvised ways to bring their faith traditions from Africa to the New World.

Technology and science writer David Pogue returns to NOVA this month in a three part series, Hunting the Elements. Pogue sets out on a world-wide quest to find the key molecules and chemical reactions that have paved the

This month we will revisit the International Film Series we began back in late 2019. This series is made possible thanks to a generous donor who provided the necessary funding to acquire these titles.
