    to Air Show Trkiye, the leading event of thecelebrations!

    We have organized an international festival of aviation, combiningthe Air Show Trkiye with the European Air Chiefs (EurAC) and theGlobal Air Chiefs (GAC) Conferences, bringing together fellow aviatorsfrom many countries who have dedicated their lives to the Blue Skiesso as to share the excitement and enthusiasm of a proud century withour nation and the Airmen of the World.

    Valuable insights have been shared during the European and GlobalAir Chiefs Conferences on the future of the Air Forces and areas ofcommon problems, while exhibiting the determination and common willtowards international cooperation and global peace.

    The last event of the festivities, Air Show Trkiye 2011 constitutesone of the largest of its kind in the world with the participation of morethan sixty Chiefs of Air Force of friendly and allied countries, the mostfavored Flight Demonstration Teams and Solo Displays of the world aswell as a large number of static display platforms.

    During the Air Show 2011 displays, you will have the opportunity towitness the performances of the demonstration teams of the friendly andallied air forces as well as the Turkish Stars and SoloTurk, and will gainan understanding of the underlying meaning of TuAF competes withthe Age as you see our systems, weapons and aircraft and highlyqualified personnel.

    Air Show Trkiye -2011

    The international Air Show Trkiye-2011, the leading event of the Centennial celebrations ofthe Turkish Air Force, is taking place at the 2nd Main Jet Base Command (ili/zmir) during

    June 4-5, 2011.This magnificient Feast of the Skies, featuring leading flight demonstration and aerobatic

    teams and solo displays from many countries of the world together with their host the TurkishStars and the F-16 SoloTrk Air Show Team will dazzle the crowds. To ensure that thespectators of this performance, which is fully open to public, have a great time, various food &beverage, entertainment and basic facilities are being set up around the air base, whilesouvenirs and books dedicated to global aviation will be available for visitors. Spectators willhave the opportunity to have a close look at all the aircraft on display and get to meet with thepilots, childrens playgrounds and entertainment areas are being prepared.

    Well known flight demonstration and acroteams will be showing-off their provess at the AirShow Trkiye-2011. Mainly, Krila Oluje from Croatia, Patrouille de France from France,Patrulla Aguilla from Spain, Frecce Tricolori from Italy, Bialo Czerwone Iskry from Poland,Red Arrows from the UK and Thunderbirds from the US, will join their hosts the TurkishStars.

    Solo display teams will be leaving their mark in the skies with F-16s from Belgium and theNetherlands, Typhoon, C-27J and AMX from Italy, F-16 and JF-17 from Pakistan, SAAB J 10from Austria and IAR-99 SOIM from Romania and Ali smet ZTRK from Turkey.

    The static display of the Typhoon from Germany, C-130 from Belgium and Algeria, the CN-295from Poland, the C-27 Spartan & IAR-29 from Romania, the AN-26 from Serbia and Slovakia,

    the F-16A/C from Jordan will attract the crowd for details.

    In addition, visitors will also be able to see current fighter aircraft of the Turkish Air Force(TuAF), F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-4E Phatom II, F-4 2020 Terminator, RF-4 and NF-5; trainingaircraft T-37, T-41 and SF-260 and the new KT-1; transport aircraft C-130 Hercules, C-160Transall and CN-235M, tanker aircraft KC-135 and the Cougar and UH-1 helicopters.

    Furthermore, visitors will also be able to look at the future of the TuAF, where they will be ableto see the highly important modernization programmes represented by the A400M transport

    aircraft, the Airborne Early Warning and Control [AEW&C] Aircraft Peace Eagle, theindigenous UAV of TAI, ANKA, while Mock-Ups of the training aircraft HRKU and Gktrk-1& 2 satellites, as well as the largest international aerospace programme of the world, the JSF!

    The Chiefs of Air Forces of 61 countries will be there to watch the shows that will no doubt befollowed by tens of thousands of spectators from Turkey and abroad.

    The prospect of witnessing this international show, one of the largestand most extensive of recent years and as a part of the ongoingcelebrations of the Centennial of the Turkish Air Force isexhilirating and we wish all participating teams and countries

    zamanda yeni ve ngrlemeyen tehlikelerle baa kmak zorundadr. Butehlikeler arasnda, her biri ulusal snrlarn tesine uzanan terrizm, ileri silah

    teknolojilerinin yaygnlamas ve siber saldrlar yer almaktadr. Bunlara kar

    etkili zmler aramak byk yatrmlar gerektirmektedir; istikrarsz uluslararas

    ekonomik senaryo ise bu yatrmlar giderek daha zor hale getirmektedir. Tm

    bunlar, ayn deerleri paylaan ortak uluslar arasnda ibirliinin daha da

    ilerletilmesini gerektirmektedir.

    Bu tr zorluklarla baarl bir ekilde yzleebilmek iin, ayn grevi paylaan

    Kuvvetlerinizin tarihini, lkelerine cesaret ve onurla hizmet veren kadn ve erkek

    To All Our Friends of the Turkish Air Force,

    As the Chief of Air Staff (Inspekteur der Luftwaffe) of the

    German Ministry of Defence, I am honoured that the

    Turkish Air Forces is celebrating its 100th Anniversary in

    2011. Turkey has made important contributions to military

    aviation since the beginning of the history of aviation. As

    German Air Force personnel, we are always appreciative of the cooperation of

    our professional and reliable Turkish colleagues in the many exercises andother aviation activities we have been performing together for decades. Our

    close and perfect relations are also evident in the officer exchange scheme,

    which we have been practising for years. In addition, there has been reciprocal

    staff officer trainings and joint technical trainings between the two countries.

    German Air Force personnel and command control officers have served in the

    Turkish Air Force, and Turkish command control officers have served in

    corresponding positions in German Air Regiments. The German Air Force has

    deep rooted relations with Turkey and the Turkish Air Force.

    In particular, the NATO membership of the two countries creates a favourable

    environment for conducting joint trainings and sharing experiences. Our joint

    participation in exercises such as ANATOLIAN EAGLE and DYNAMIC GUARD is

    an expression of the importance of our past solidarity and cooperation.

    I extend my congratulations on the occasion of the anniversary of the Turkish

    Air Force, and wish you the continuation of your successes in the future.

    duyuyorum. 20nci yzyln balarnda, iki lkenin hava

    kuvvetleri de mtevazi balanglardan yola karak zaman

    iinde gelimiler ve bugn, uluslarmzn gurur duyaca, en yksek

    standardlara sahip, ileri teknolojiyle bezenmi birer Hava Gc unsuru

    haline gelmilerdir. Bugn, lkelerimizin silahl kuvvetlerinin hayati birer

    parasyz.

    Savunma alannda ve bilhassa Hava Gcnde ngiltere ile Trkiye arasnda,

    sadece NATO erevesinde gerekletirdiimiz ortak almalar kapsamnda

    deil, ayn zamanda ikili faaliyetlerimizde de mkemmel bir ibirlii

    mevcut. Havaclar olarak paylatmz, benzer harekat yntemleri ve engelimi askeri kabiliyetleri sunma gdmzden kaynaklanan ortak ba,

    geleceimizin daha da gl olacann gstergesidir. leriye ynelik

    olarak, hem Trkiye, hem de ngiltere, Mterek Taarruz Ua 5nci Nesil

    Lightning IInin tedarikinde tam bir kararllk sergilemektedir. lkelerimiz

    ve hava kuvvetlerimiz arasndaki kalc dostluktan kaynaklanan gl ve

    dinamik bir ilikinin, hem her ikimiz iin, hem NATO ve hem de tm dnya

    bu mthi gcn bir paras olmaktan gurur duyduklarnaeminim.

    Kurulduu gnden balayarak, HvKKnn zengin tarihi vlmeye ve gklerekarlmaya deer baarlarla dolu olmutur. 1911 ylnn Haziran ay, Osmanl

    mparatorluu ile balayarak Trkiyenin havaclk alanndaki cesaret doluabalarnn balangcn iaret ediyordu. Balkan Savalar, Birinci Dnya Sava,

    Kurtulu Sava ve yakn zamana kadar gerekleen tm dier atmalarda,HvKKnn kadn ve erkekleri Trk bayran gklerde tutmak iin byk bir

    profesyonellik ve ballk sergilemitir. 1937de dnyann ilk kadn sava pilotuolan ve ylmakszn cesaret dolu uulara imza atan Sabiha GKEN, Trkiyede

    herkes tarafndan imrenilerek rnek alndna emin olduum bir ikon halinegelmitir. 1996da ABD Hava Kuvvetleri (USAF) tarafndan hazrlanan Tarihin En

    Byk 20 Pilotu posteri iin seilen tek kadn olmas, onun gerek birprofesyonel olarak sahip olduu konumu gstermektedir.

    Gnmz havac nesilleri, astlarna nclk ederken daima dinamizm ve vizyonsergileyen seleflerinden ilham almaldr. Trk Hava Kuvvetlerinin bugndnyann en kabiliyetli Hava Kuvvetlerinden birisi olarak kabul grmesini

    salayanlar, gerekten de birok zorlu durumda benzersiz gayret ve fedakarlksergileyen bu disiplinli, yetenekli ve byk balla sahip kiilerdir.

    Pakistan ve Trkiye ortak bir miras, kltr ve dini paylarken, her zaman

    birbirlerinin yannda yer almlardr. Bizler, Tek Ulus, ki lke gibiyiz. Her iki lkede birbirlerine g kayna olmaya devam edecektir.

    Pakistan ve Trk Hava Kuvvetleri bir kardelik ba paylamaktadr. Karlklmbadelelerden, Anadolu Kartal ve Indus Viper gibi ortak tatbikatlara kadar

    tm alanlarda ballmz ve ibirliimiz hep vgye deer oldu. Pakistan HavaKuvvetleri, tm bu etkileimlerden ok ey renmitir ve

    karlkl ilikilerimizi daha da ykseklere karmayumuyoruz.

    Trk Hava Kuvvetlerinin nclerinin arkalarnda braktmirasn yeni nesil havaclar tarafndan daha da yksek

    stikbal Gklerdedir! hedefi ile ortaya koyduu ngrnn doruluunukantlamtr.

    Tarih, Cumhurbakan ATATRKn bu hissiyatn ve bizlerin milli gvenlik

    asndan hava gcnn muazzam deerine olan sarslmaz inancmz

    dorulamaktadr. Trkiye Cumhuriyetinin ilk kurulduu yllarda hava

    kuvvetlerinizin milli egemenliin tesisi ve muhafazas iin oynad tarihi

    rolden gurur duyabilirsiniz. Souk Sava dnemi boyunca ise Trk

    havaclar, uluslarmzn ve hava kuvvetlerimizin geleceini nemli lde

    ekillendiren o alkantl zamanlarda NATO mttefiklerinin yannda yer

    almtr.

    Bugn, iddet ieren arcla kar birlikte mcadele ediyoruz. Havaclar

    olarak, halklarmz iin daha fazla gvenlik, daha fazla istikrar ve daha

    fazla frsat iin hava gcnn doasnda yer alan zelliklerden

    yararlanmaya her zaman hazrz. Sizler Trk Hava Kuvvetlerinin 100nc

    The Centennial of the Turkish Air ForceThe great leader Atatrk has perfectly defined our vision for

    aviation with his words The Future is in the Skies!, and ourinitiatives in this field have since been in keeping with

    developments, the world-over. The foundation of the TurkishAir Force as we know them today, in 1911 as the Aviation

    Commission was one of the most important steps of this process.The creation of TOMTA and the the Turkish Aircraft Community in 1925, followed by

    the personal efforts and contributions of Nuri DEMRA, Vecihi HRKU andSelahaddin Reit (ALAN), has enabled the establishment of a very significant and solid

    infrastructure.

    Developments in aviation industry continued with the foundation of TAI in 1984 andthe licensed manufacturing of F-16, CN-235, SF-260 aircraft and Cougar Helicopters

    for the Turkish Armed Forces. These continued with the initiation of ANKA, HRKUdevelopment, as well as the C-130 and T-38 Modernisation projects early in the

    2000s, focusing specifically on design and development engineering, whereaccomplishments to-date have led to the establishment of an aviation industrial

    capability ensuring a higher level of local support to the Turkish Air Forces.

    Celebrating its Centennial and with its very high combat readiness, the Turkish AirForce, which will surely be proudly celebrating many centuries to come, is held in very

    high esteem both by us and our allies. The sustaiment of an air force of thismagnitude and strength can only be ensured by an aviation industry that is equally

    capable in technological infrastructure, to satisfy its needs. To this end, thecooperation and synergy between our Air Force and the industry increases every day. Isincerely hope that this synergy and cooperation will be an important force multiplier

    for our Air Force in the 21st century.

    I would also like to recognize once more, the martyrs of the air, the airmen andairwomen, who have willingly sacrificied their lives for their country to-date. I wouldlike to avail myself of this opportunity to congratulate the Chief of General Staff and

    the Chief of the Air Force as well as all the members of Air Force Command, both

    active and retired, for their Centennial and I wish for many more Proud Centuries tothe Air Force, an essential element for the perpetuity of the Republic of Turkey.

    Aviation, both civilian and military, have always

    captured many peoples imagination. Airshows are still after football the largest outdoor events across Europe!

    Millions and millions of spectators are thrilled by the

    performances and displays of aircrafts of all variety. From

    fast jets to airliners, from gliders and warbirds; many

    people carry aviation in their heart. Among those many

    carry a camera to capture the action, and the die-hard

    fans of aviation photography are better known as

    spotters.

    You can find themaround airports, military

    bases, even museums, just

    with the single purpose of

    getting that perfect photo!

    All spotters are very pro-

    aviation and always

    supportive towards the

    military.

    They seem always well

    informed on whats going

    on, which special airliner is expected at an airport or

    when the major military excercises take place. They find

    each other trough some very famous internetforums and

    in almost every country you have several spottergroups

    nowadays. Their favourite place to meet.at the fence:

    winter or summer, if there is an interesting aircraft they

    will always be there! In the mid nineties a new type of

    event emerged, next to the airshow or military exercise; a

    dedicated spottersday!

    The best publicity for events, shared in photos all

    across the internet, was no longer done by the regular

    media, but many times by the spotters.

    Organisers were willing to give the spotters special

    acces to their event, usually in the days prior to the event

    to give them a chance to get pictures from different angles

    and far closer to the action then normal visitors. These

    initiatives were greatly appreciated by the worldwide

    spotterscommunity, and very often the limited spaces

    offered are immediately sold out. Today almost every

    major airshow or military exercise has a spottersday in

    their program.

    Airshow Turkiye 2011 teamed up with Belgian

    photographer Eric Coeckelberghs (EAC photographer and

    founder of the Air to Air

    Academy) to give the

    worldwide

    spotterscommunity a unique

    chance to see the

    preparations for the 100th

    anniversary celebrations of

    the Turkish Airforce on base

    and close to the action: the

    first spotterday in Turkiye!

    Not only will there be two

    spotterdays rightaway, one on rehursalday and one on

    departureday, but these fantastic opportunities were

    offered entirely free! Of course it was no surprise that

    positive reactions came from all over the world, and with

    over 1000 registered spotters from 27 different countries

    the interest was far higher then expected. Very soon all

    these enthousiast photographers will come to Turkiye to

    join the Centennial celebrations, and enjoy it to take

    thousands of photos of the aircraft of the Turkish Airforce!

    Trk Yldzlar akrotimine tahsis edilen 9 adet NF-5 ve 1 adet NF-5 B uanda yaplan tadilat ve deiiklikler Temmuz 1994'te bitirilerekbirliine teslim edilmitir.

    5 Ekim 1994 tarihinde Diyarbakr 8nci Ana Jet s Komutanl F-16 Aktivasyon trenleri ile Ankara'da 29 Ekim 1994'teki CumhuriyetBayram trenlerinde gsteri uuu yaparak kamuoyuna tantlmtr.

    Trk Yldzlar Eskiehir'de icra edilen Distant Thunder-95 tatbikatnn 20 Nisan 1995 tarihindeki gzlemci gnnde yerli ve yabanckonuklara ilk yedili gsterisini yapmtr.

    2003-2004 Eitim ve retim ylnda gsterinin etkinliini arttrmak maksad ile gsteri paketini 8'li kola karmak maksadylaalmalara balanmtr. Trk Yldzlar 8'li paket olarak ilk gsterisini 30.03.2004 tarihinde gerekletirmitir.

    134'nc Akrotim Filo Komutanl u anda bnyesindeki 10 pilot ile gsterilerine devam etmektedirler.Trk Hava Kuvvetleri'nde 1987'den bu yana kullanlan NF-5'ler, akrobasi almalar esnasnda uu sistemleri ve performanslar

    sayesinde akrobasi uuuna en uygun uak olarak seilmitir. Dnya havaclk literatr tarandnda F-5 uann dizaynnn, spersonikjet uuuna en uygun uak dizayn olarak tanmland grlmektedir.

    Turkish Stars, is the only aerobatic team performing their displays with "eight" supersonic NF-5 aircraft.The Turkish Stars acroteam performs for the authorities and other guests during the last day of the Fire-Range Contest of the Turkish

    Air Force on June 18,1993 in the 4th Main Jet Base Command (Aknc/Ankara). After this performance of the Turkish Stars takes thesquadron status and is considered to be the youngest supersonic aerobatics teams of the world.

    Nine NF-5A and one NF-5B aircraft which were in maintenance are given back to the Turkish Stars in perfect condition in July 1994.In October 5, 1994 the 8th Main Jet Base Command (Diyarbakr) is introduced to the public during the performances of the F-16

    Activation Celebrations and the celebration of the Day of the Republic in October 29,1994 in Ankara.Additionally the Turkish Stars have been observed by many national and international guests during their "Distant Thunder-95"

    exercises in Eskiehir in April 20, 1995. In Baku/Azerbaijan in August 24,2001 Turkish Stars demonstrated a display to over than onemillion people,that is to be a world record.

    The first show by an 8 aircraft formation is demonstrated on March 30,2004.134th Acroteam Squadron Command is demonstrating with 11 pilots now.NF-5 aircraft, those are in service at TuAF since 1987, were selected as the most suitable aircraft for aerobatic displays due to their

    avionic systems and aircraft performance. When the world aviation literature is scanned, it is seen that the F-5 aircraft design is the mostsuitable aircraft design for supersonic flights.

    In year 2000, in addition to above mentioned modifications, 3-axis VTR's were mopunted in order to improve the effectiveness of postflight evaluations. Now, acroteam demonstrates and trains with 10 NF-5A and 2 NF-5B aircraft.

    Thunderbirds is the United States Air Force Demonstration Squadron, also known like America'sAmbassadors in Blue, fly on six F-16C/D Block 52. The Thunderbirds Squadron use 12 F-16, while nineare from the C-modification (6 participated in the air and rest are reserve) and three two-seated from the D-modification. In resent times

    the slot plane #4 is usually F-16D. The squadron home base is Nellis AFB, near Las Vegas.In the squadron served 120 people - 12 officers, 4 civilians and 104 sergeants. The twelve officers have numbers with callsign

    Thunderbird. Thunderbird #1 is a leader and commander of the squadron. Pilots from #2 to #6 are demonstration pilots. #2 is the leftwing, #3 is the right wing, #4 is the slot, # 5 is the lead solo and the #6 is the opposite solo.

    #7 is an operative officer and #8 is a narrator and coordinator of the show. Those are fighter pilots in the squadron but only six ofthem participate in the airshow. All eight pilots fly on the planes with corresponding numbers: # 9 is the flight surgeon: #10 - the chief ofthe headquarters: #11 - the chief of support and #12 - public relations (PR) officer.

    The candidates for pilots must have at least 1000 flying hours on a jet fighter and must be pilots of F-16 at the present. All candidatesfor members of Thunderbirds must have at least 3 years (but no more than 12 years) of military service.

    The AircraftThe F-16 aircrafts of the Thunderbirds are equipped with special power aggregate which supplies restoring of electricity and hydraulics

    in case of engine stop or traction lost. This helps the malfunctioned plane to land safety. Another difference is presence of a chronometerin a pilot's compartment which gives the pilots an opportunity to measure every maneuver with accuracy and precision of seconds.

    The Patrouille de France (Patrol of France) includes one commander (who does not fly) and nine pilots - one leader (which leads theformation in the air and is not the pilot with the longest experience at the team; this makes the French aerobatic team unique because in

    the most of the rest aerobatic teams in the world the leader is the pilot with the longest experience at the team), a solo leader and secondsolo leader (both of them flies on airplanes with numbers 7 and 8), one reserve pilot (who has the longest experience at the team, butflies only when it is necessary to replace someone from the pilots, excluding the leader). All pilots have callsign "Atos". Except themPatrouille de France has 30 people ground crew who are responsible for good working order of the aircrafts.

    The team also has nine airplanes, one of which is a spare and carries number 0. The aircrafts of Patrouille de France are different fromthe usual ones by their coloring (in white, blue and red) and by the smoke generator on the bottom of the airplane's fuselage between twoengines. It releases white, blue and red smoke.

    The aerobatic demonstration itself of Patrouille de France lasts only 20 minutes which not lists them amongst the best aerobatic teamsin the world.

    Patrouille de France does not have its own cargo plane.

    The Red Arrows is the Royal Air Force aerobatic display team. The team consists of nine demonstration pilots who fly Hawk T Mk 1Aaircraft supported by either a C-130 Hercules aircraft, which carries all the spares and equipment to support the detached operation, or aroad train of coaches or articulated lorries that carry the support team and all equipment to the airshow. (On Team aircraft, the differencebetween the Mk 1 and a Mk 1A Hawk aircraft is that, as well as removal of the centre-line tank, which contains all the smoke systems,and installing in its place an Aden gun pod, the Mk1A can carry two AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, one under each wing).

    Every year three pilots leave and three new pilots will join the Team. The Red Arrows are renowned throughout the world asambassadors for both the Royal Air Force and the United Kingdom. Since the Team was officially formed in 1965, the Red Arrows havecompleted over 4,000 displays in 53 countries.

    The Red Arrows reputation is built on the commitment and professionalism, combined with Royal Air Force skills, training andequipment. Many of the Red Arrows pilots and support staff have recently returned from Afghanistan and Iraq and many will be

    temporarily detached on operations overseas during their time with the Red Arrows.

    HAWKThe BAE Systems Hawk is a British single engine, advanced jet trainer aircraft. It first flew in 1974 as the Hawker Siddeley Hawk. The

    Hawk is used by the Royal Air Force, and other air forces, as either a trainer or a low-cost combat aircraft. The Hawk is still in productionwith over 900 Hawks sold to 18 customers around the world.

    The Hawk was designed to be manoeuvrable and can reach Mach 0.88 in level flight, and Mach 1.15 in a dive, thus allowing trainees toexperience transonic flight before advancing to a supersonic trainer.[3] Its airframe is very durable and strong, stressed for +9 g, but thenormal service limit in RAF service is +7.5/-4 g.

    Frecce Tricolori is the Italian Air Force aerobatic display team.The team consist of 13 jet training Italian made planes Aermacchi MB-339, but only 10 take part in the airshow.All team members carry call-sign Pony, following the number of the plane.     Bialo-Czerwone Iskry (White-Red Sparks) aerobatic display team isa part of Polish Air Force and fly seven TS-11 Iskra airplanes painted inwhite and red and use the same colors smoke generators, as thedemonstration duration is about 18 minutes.

    The first aerobatic display team in Polish Air Force was formed onFeb 16, 1969 in Radom airbase. The team was called Rombik(Diminutive of rhombus) and flew four Polish built jet trainers TS-11

    Iskra (Spark). Also the team had two solo pilots, which flew only in solo displays and one spare pilot.The first public display of the Rombik aerobatic team was on Aug 17, 1971 during Polish Air Force Day airshow in Deblin. In this period

    team performed rarely and team's planes don't have special color scheme.In 1981 Rombik team was disbanded during sedition situation in Poland.TS-11 ISKRA

    The aircraft was designed in response to a Polish Air Force requirement for a jet trainer. The main designer was Tadeusz Sotyk - hencea designation letters TS. The new plane was the first jet aircraft designed in Poland. Work started in 1957, the first prototype powered byan imported British Armstrong Siddeley Viper 8 of 7.80 kN (1.750 lbf) was flown on February 5, 1960. The next two prototypes, with aPolish copy of the Viper engine named the WSK HO-10 engine were flown in March and July 1961.

    Poland is currently developing the new TS-11S Iskra (Spark) for future jet trainer. It will be equipped with new avionics, strengthenedstructures and a more powerful engine.

    Polonya Hava Kuvvetlerindeki ilk Akro Tim 16 ubat 1969da Radom Hava ssnde tekil edilmitir. Time Rombik yani Kk Baklaismi verilmiti ve drt adet Polonya retimi TS-11 Jet Eitim ua uurmakta idiler. Bunun yan sra sadece solo uan iki pilotlar ve bir deyedek pilotlar vard.

    Bu akro timin ilk geni apl gsterisi Polonya Hava Kuvvetleri gn olan 17 Austos 1971de Deblin ehrindeki hava gsterilerindeoldu. Bu srete tim fazla gsteri sergilemedi ve uaklarda zel bir renk tasarm yoktu. 1981 ylnda Polonyadaki i huzursuzluklardolaysyla ekip datld.

    TS-11 ISKRAUak Polonya Hava Kuvvetlerinin jet eitim uana ihtiya duymas zerine imal edildi. Ba tasarmc isminin ba harfleri kullanlan

    Tadeusz Soltyktir. Yeni uak Polonyada tasarlanan ilk jet uadr. almalar 1957de balam ve prototip ngiliz Armstrong SiddeleyViper motoru ile donatlm olarak 05 ubat 1960da umutur. Sonraki iki prototip sz konusu motorun Polonya muadili olan WSK HO-10 motorlaryla Mart ve Temmuz 1961de umutur.

    Polonya u anda yeni nesil TS-11Syi jet eitim ua olarak gelitirmektedir. Daha kuvvetli bir motor, avionik sistemler veglendirilmi bir yapyla donatlacaktr.

    'Krila Oluje' (Wings of Storm) is the Croatian Air Force (HRZ) and the Air defense (PZO) aerobatic display team. Its task is the presentationof skill, discipline, team work and the high degree of training quality of the Croatian air force and Croatian armed forces in general.

    The team 'Krila Oluje' consists of the pilots from the 93rd Military airbase Zemunik. In comparison with the majority of aerobatic teams inthe world whose pilots' single task is to train and do aerobatic team performances, the primary task of the pilots from the 'Krila Oluje' istraining of the future Croatian air force pilots. Captain Diana Dobo, was a member of the 'Krila Oluje' from 2005 to 2007 and became athird woman in the world history to fly in an acrobatic team.

    The team candidates are chosen amongst the most experienced longtime flight instructors who must meet the basic conditions ofexcellent flight techniques, have needed psychophysical predispositions, tendency to team work and a minimum total of 600 flight hours.They also must show the best results in formation acrobatic flying consisting of two ship formation. The chosen candidates then go

    through a very demanding training of acrobatic flying in formations from two to six airplanes, during which the pilots train performing thespecific acrobatic elements at minimal altitude above ground and at extremely low distances between the planes in a formation.

    The program performed by the 'Krila Oluje' is 20 minutes long and it is performed at the altitudes from 50 to 1000 m and at the minimumdistance from the audience of about 230 m.

    For their trainings and exhibitions ' Krila Oluje' do not have special planes and equipment as majority of teams in the world but they usethe airplanes from the Squadron of 93rd air base according to the momentary availability.

    The Pilatus PC-9The Pilatus PC-9 is a single-engine, low-wing tandem-seat turboprop training aircraft manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft of Switzerland.This version was introduced in 1997 as the new standard model. It has an enlarged dorsal fin in order to improve longitudinal stability,

    modified wingroot fairings, stall strips on the leading edges as well as new engine and propeller controls.
