Principal’s Message
Tweed Council is currently upgrading Fawcett Street to have curb and guttering. They have informed the school that they will be there until Christmas. As such, on some days Fawcett Street will be inaccessible. If this is the case, students will enter and leave via the school gate in Bawden Street.
Thank you to all of you who have returned our “School Satisfaction” survey. We still have a few yet to be returned to the school office, please have these back by Friday, 23rd November.
Nancy Wise will be at school to do the annual stocktake of library resources in Week 9. As such, all students are asked to return all library books by the end of next week to facilitate this process.
Our Year 6 farewell dinner and presentation night, Monday 17th December, is fast approaching. Please ensure you save this date in your diaries! This year, students in Years 4-6 are invited to attend the Year 6 Farewell Dinner at The House of Gabriel along with staff members. Following the dinner, we return to school for our annual presentation night. This is for all students K-6. This is a special event that acknowledges the achievements of our students in 2012. We conclude the evening with the cutting of the Year 6 farewell cake. We hope everyone can join us.
Have a great week!
