Psalm 90 In Every Age, O Lord

1– You return us to dust, children of earth back to earth. For in your eyes a thousand years are like a single day: they pass with the swiftness of sleep.

2– You sweep away the years as sleep passes the dawn, like the grass that springs up in day and is withered by evening. 3– Teach us to make us of our days and bring wisdom to our hearts. How long, O Lord, before you return? Pity your servants. 4– Shine your love on us each dawn, and gladden all our days. Let your loveliness shine on us, bless the work of our hands.

People: My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
