TS Gold: Checkpoints

There are several ways to complete the checkpoints. You can do an area, an objective, a child or multiple children.

1. Go to either the ”Checkpoint” tab on the right or the “Assess” icon on the top, then select by child or by class.

2. If you select “by child” you will then need to select the child.

3. Select the “Checkpoint Period” on the upper right. You will then select the objective and dimensions to assess. You will notice

circle that indicate the status of assessment for that area/objective/dimension . All of the circles will be green when finished

(after you have finalized they will have a checkmark and be green).

4. If you have documentation and preliminary scores, these will show up for each objective/dimension when you do the check-

point. You can choose to display the documentation, previous checkpoints, levels and examples.

5. After you score the dimension, you can either move on to the next dimension or save. When you have completed all the di-

mensions for an area, you will have the option to move back or save. Make sure you save.

6. For the areas where you have to assess on “program expectations” you will need to refer to the outcomes and what they clas-

sify as age appropriate for.

7. When you have completed the assessment for an domain, you will see a button to “Finalize” the score. You will need to final-

ized the checkpoint for each domain.
