TRUMANSBURG ROTARY MEETING MINUTES FOR
3/21/13
Sh
The meeting was brought to order at 6:30. Guests were introduced by Ben C. They were his daughter, Lauren, and grandson, Mathew.
Shelly had an update on the Femtastics. They are working with Shelly to see how we can help them. One suggestion was to help with the Pumpkin Festival. Shelly thanked Ben C. for setting up the bowling tournament with Dryden even though he could not bowl. The official results are still not known. Ben C. reminded us that the BOCES Awards meeting will be May 16th and we will plan on having dinner before and it will be our meeting. Also, the BOCES luncheon does not have a date yet but Ben will let us know when it is as soon as he gets the information. Shelly reminded us that the District Conference registration form is on the District web site and we can go there and download it to register. Also the District Assembly registration is also on the District web site if anyone is interested in going to one of those meetings. The agenda is also there and it is free with lunch being served at both sites. We brainstormed a little on ways to increase membership. This will be ongoing and any ideas will be welcome. April 11th will be the deadline for selling tickets for the Supermarket Sweeps. Darlynne will be our speaker for next week and talk on the Commons renovations. Mike also told us that he would be back with us on a regular basis around the end of May. Meeting adjourned at 7:47.

Giving to the poor will keep you from poverty but if you close your eyes to their needs, everyone will curse you. When crooks are in control, everyone tries to hide, but when they lose power, good people are everywhere. Proverbs 28:27-28
