WHAT WE BELIEVE

HEARING IMPAIRED Pocket-sized receivers with ear buds are available to be checked out during the Worship Service from the sound booth at the rear of the sanctuary.

ELDER INVITATION Following morning worship, the elders will be available to members and guests for prayer and ministry. Simply come to the front of the sanctuary where we will be glad to: pray for your personal needs, lead you in receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior, discuss church membership.

4

ESPECIALLY FOR OUR GUESTS We are glad to have you worship with us today. You are worshiping with people who experience the same difficulties of life as you. We have nothing to boast about except the God we worship. Please relax and focus upon the Lord Jesus who loves you and desires for you to follow Him. While God has surely led you here, you likely still have a number of im-portant questions about us; how to get more in-

volved and connected in meaningful relationships, or about your own personal or spiritual needs. If so, please allow us to help you by com-pleting the guest registration inside the back cover or by coming for-ward during the invitation time. —Ronnie W. Rogers

OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Verse of the week:

Daily Bible Readings for the Week:

Book Recommendation

The Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges “Be holy, for I am holy,” commands God. But holiness is something that is often missed in the Christian’s daily life, because we’re not ex-actly sure what our part in holiness is. In The Pursuit of Holiness, he helps us see clearly just what we should rely on God to do―and what we should take responsibility for ourselves. As you deepen your rela-tionship with God, learn more about His character, and understand the Holy Spirit’s role in holiness, your spiritual growth will mature.

Sunday: Num. 21-22, Ps. 73, John 15 Monday: Num. 23-24, Ps. 74, John 16 Tuesday: Num. 25-26, Ps. 75, John 17 Wednesday: Num. 27-28, Ps. 76, John 18 Thursday: Num. 29-30, Ps. 77, John 19 Friday: Num. 31, Ps. 78:1-39, John 20-21 Saturday: Num. 32, Ps. 78:40-72, Acts 1

“And when you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumci-sion of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiv-en us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” Colossians 2:13-14, NASB
