The Raceway Cinema is lo cated on Old Country Road adja cent to Roosevelt Raceway in Westbury, Long Island. “Thoroughly Modern Millie” stars Julie Andrews, Mary Tyler Moore, Carol Cbanning, James Pox, John Gavin and Beatrice Lillie. The film, which won unanimous critical acclaim, is currently playing to record busi ness at the Criterion Theatre in New York City where it will con tinue to be shown as well as the new theatre in Westbury. The new Raceway Cinema, con structed at a cost of $1.2 million, - features,.the Jatesfc^jyiiques in design and the most modern pro jection and sound equipment available. The auditorium pre sents a startling idea in construc tion with both inside and outside, walls slanted inward. The boxoffice of the Raceway Cinema is now open for the ad vance sale of tickets from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Sundays and Holidays. Mail orders are now being accepted.
