Academy on the Road – With a 20-year history and strong equity, Transitions Academy is one of the most well- recognized and unique events in the optical industry. This year, we’re taking the content from Academy and bringing it to the industry with Academy on the Road. Academy on the Road will bring key content from Academy re-packaged into a two-day, one-day or half-day workshops that can be co-hosted by labs or lens casters.

How to Access: Lens Casters, Labs and Retailers - Ask your Transitions Consultant to develop a customized Academy on the Road program for you.

Peer-to-Peer Dinners – Quality conversations with colleagues are a key source of information and can fuel success. During these interactive small-group sessions (which can be co-hosted by labs or lens casters) a Transitions Pro Forum advisor will lead an open discussion to encourage attendees to share and learn best practices

on subjects from increasing capture rate to providing a patient experience that earns repeat business.

Kids Materials – In 2017, Transitions will have a renewed focus on Kids. We will continue to communicate our blue light message as well as develop a white paper of clinical research for ECPs: meds, special needs, blue light. Transitions will also be creating a Kids Toolkit that includes What Moms and Dads Should Know: Protect to Preserve (UV, digital devices, sports), a PowerPoint for the exam room, office scripts: from reception, to exam, to dispensary (style tips for kids), turn-key kids promotion assets and social media assets.

To be included you need to be above the Transitions average penetration of 19% or have your patients register their Certificate of Authenticity which validates that you provided authentic Transitions lenses.
