South-African born Gwen started her career in the hair industry in 1995. Now the owner and Salon

Director of Transform Hair & Beauty, Gwen has a passion for creativity and hair styling while making

the time to ensure her client's needs are met. She also holds a L’Oréal colour expert diploma.

DRIES - MANAGEMENT

Dries works hard behind the scenes dealing with all kinds of e-mail and phone queries, making sure

our days at the salon run smoothly, enabling us all to focus on you, our clients.

KIRSTY – SENIOR STYLIST

Kirsty comes with years of experience and a passion for the industry. She is kind and caring and is

good at giving tailored advice to suit your individual needs so that you leave looking & feeling

fabulous.

STEPHANIE – BEAUTY THERAPIST

Stephanie is a beauty therapist with over 10 years’ experience in the beauty industry and have a passion for everything beauty. She enjoys making clients feel relaxed and welcome with her bubbly

ENVIRON HAND OR FOOT TREATMENT 30 min £20 Add on treatment to any facial, massage or pedicure. The Environ Hand or Foot Treatment is a great hydrating treatment that tackles mature or sun damaged skins. The products used have Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) which help to promote exfoliation of the skin, this soothes and refines the surface of the skin and promotes the penetration of Vitamin A. This is the miracle ingredient that repairs and rejuvenates the skin.

ELECTROLYSIS HAIR REMOVAL

Electrolysis is an FDA and British Medical Association approved method of permanent hair removal. It is particularly suitable for small body areas like upper lip and chin. It is very successfully used on all skin types and all hair colours (including white, red, and blonde) and all hair thickness, including ladies that have started menopause and wish to permanently remove hair. It is performed by a fully qualified and experienced technician.

Electrolysis hair removal requires hair to be treated individually. A tiny probe, the size of the hair, is inserted in the hair follicle. A small amount of current is then realised which stops the nutrients and blood supply to the hair causing the hair to die. The number of treatments required varies from person to person; it is not possible to determine in advance how many treatments will be required. The number of hairs on a treated area can vary for everyone but you will see the difference just after just a few treatments. Treatment progress depends on skin sensitivity, moisture in the skin, hair thickness, your commitment etc. A treatment plan is discussed at the consultation after examining the area to be treated.

Immediately after the treatment there may be some redness and swelling on the area treated, which usually disappears in time depending on each person’s sensitivity of the skin.

ADVICE AND TIPS

CHILDREN

As a courtesy to other clients in treatments, and for health and safety reasons, children

cannot accompany parents into the treatment room. Please also be aware that our

receptionist cannot be held responsible for the supervision of children waiting in the

reception area whilst parents are undergoing their treatments.

NOTICE PERIOD

As a courtesy to other clients and our therapists, please give at least 24 hours’ notice if

you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.

Missed appointments will be charged the full price.

LATE ARRIVALS

It is in our best interest at Transform to deliver the best we can in all treatments. We

understand that sometimes you cannot avoid being late. We will however endeavour to

maximize your treatment in the time allocated for your appointment. We encourage

you to still relax for the remaining time of your treatment.

NEW CLIENTS Please arrive 15mins before your treatment to allow time to complete your record card.

MOBILE PHONES

We try to create an ambience of total relaxation and calm for all our cliental to enjoy. We

ask you to please switch off your mobile phone during treatments and for the

consideration of others trying to relax.

in top London salons.

MANICURES & PEDICURES

By offering to pay for your manicure beforehand will avoid smudges. Please remember to
