Transferring Freegal Music Files using Android File Transfer On a Mac – Begin by going to https://www.android.com/filetransfer/ and downloading the Android File Transfer Application. You will find it more convenient to adjust your “sleep” settings on your device to allow more time to complete the transfer prior to going back in to “sleep” mode. 1. Begin by unlocking your Android device. 2. With a USB cable, connect your device to your computer. 3. On your Mac, open the Android File Transfer app. (If presented with a cautionary box, go ahead and open the app.) 4. You will see a Welcome box. Select “Get Started 5. On the device, swipe down on the notification shade, in the upper right corner of the screen. You will see a notification regarding the USB charging the device.
