2 For Fully Trained GMC Approved Educational Supervisors Educational supervisors will be asked to demonstrate 4 hours of CPD a year of relevant educational activities. This would be captured in the CPD section as part of the annual appraisal. HETV are currently building a local programme of CPD events to support the 4 hours, however, any educationally relevant activity provided by the OUH or the royal colleges would suffice. Examples are (but not restricted to the list below):

Horus training

Supporting the Trainee in Difficulty course

Any appropriate courses run by HETV

Any appropriate online learning though eLfH

OUH Resilience Training run through Silver Lining Training

OUH Educational Supervisor Half Day Training Events https://www.ouh.nhs.uk/education-centres/training/educational-supervisors.aspx http://www.oxforddeanery.nhs.uk/courses__conferences_centre.aspx

CPD is not restricted those educational activities listed on the webpage. If you are not sure whether the educational activity would count please speak to the Department of Medical Education – [email protected]
