We aim to create learning experiences which are highly practical and immediately applicable in yourwork settings.

We acknowledge learning is a personal experience and that all participants in any education process are both teachers and learners.

We will discuss and identify the ways we can best learn together. We believe that it is every person’s responsibility to make the most of their learning opportunity.

We recognise that how we worktogether is important – group dynamics affect everyone’s learning. We understand that there are many ways of being and doing – we will share with you ways that we have found effective, and learn from your experience too.

TACSI trainers and coaches have adopted the following operational principles, and we expect participants to do the same:

• Show respect to others and yourself

• Draw on the diversity of experiences and perspectives in the room

• Create constructive learning spaces

• Share in a spirit of reciprocity

An introduction to systems innovation by designMany of our social challenges are simply too complex to be addressed by a single innovation or organisation. This seminar explores the challenges of systems innovation and the practical ways government, philanthropy, community organisations and other ‘system stewards’ are making progress in these circumstances.
