WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR OVERALL ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN THE 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR?
Answer: We responded with the “cosmetics of achievement”
2 Key Questions:• Do we have the right strategy?• Do we have a problem with
implementation?
![Page 13: TRADITION AND TRANSFORMATION SANDUSKY CITY SCHOOLS’ 2013-2014 School Year](https://reader033.vdocuments.us/reader033/viewer/2022051516/56649e395503460f94b2b6ed/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
Why is it important for the Sandusky City Schools to perform at a level consistent or better than our competitors?
![Page 14: TRADITION AND TRANSFORMATION SANDUSKY CITY SCHOOLS’ 2013-2014 School Year](https://reader033.vdocuments.us/reader033/viewer/2022051516/56649e395503460f94b2b6ed/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
What is our game plan for the 2013-2014 School Year?
• Implement the Next Level Instructional Plan at all levels
• Our Standard will be to become a “A” District at all levels
• Every academic effort must be aligned to achieving this goal
• Increased Accountability• Calling Out Inferior Work and
Correcting Ineffective Instruction
![Page 15: TRADITION AND TRANSFORMATION SANDUSKY CITY SCHOOLS’ 2013-2014 School Year](https://reader033.vdocuments.us/reader033/viewer/2022051516/56649e395503460f94b2b6ed/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
KEEP IN MIND THAT THE ACHIEVEMENT STANDARS ARE
RAISED NEXT YEAR. WE HAVE TO BE ABLE TO MEET A HIGHER
PERCENTAGE FOR THE UPCOMING GRADE CARD.
