VERY IMPORTANT: After you have logged in, you need to click on the browser that holds your quiz

and continue with the exam. Your zoom (and camera) will be running (working) on the background.

Your Teacher will observe you as you continue with your exam.

Groups & Questions - (Level): Students will be able to see ONLY the exam that is meant for

the group the student is in. In other words, a student in A1 Degree group will see ONLY the

exam meant for A1 Degree group students. An A2 Non Degree students will see ONLY the exam

meant for the students in the A2 Non Degree group, and so forth.

Important: At the very beginning of the exam, students must read the Name/Title of

the exam to make sure it corresponds with the group in which he/she belongs. If THE

Name/Title of the exam doesn’t correspond with your real group (the group you

were placed in at the beginning of the year; A1 Degree – A2 Non Degree – B1 Degree,

etc.), please contact your Advisor Teacher immediately.

Punctuality To Exam: (Important) Any student who is 10 minutes late WILL NOT be allowed

to access the ELAT exam. In other words, the system WILL NOT let you in, if you try to log in

10 minutes after the exam has started, you will be denied access by the system. So, students

must start the exam at the EXACT time indicated above.

You Cannot Change An Answer: During the exam, after a student has answered a particular

question and moved on (continued) to the next question, although the student can return

to a previous question (which he/she already answered), the student WILL NOT

BE ABLE TO CHANGE the answer (of a previous question). So, students should think very

carefully about a particular question BEFORE going on to the next question/next page.

Do Not Leave Questions Unanswered: Students must not leave any question unanswered.

Any “unanswered question” will be registered as a wrong answer, hence, that particular

question will be scored zero (0 point).

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EVENT OF A TECHNICAL MISHAP?

a. Support Team: There will be members of the IT team and the Distance Learning Unit team

on standby (ready) to remotely assist and resolve all technical issues.

b. Who & Where To Contact: At the beginning of the exam, a notice box will appear on the

screen. On this notice box/window, students will be provided with the contact details of the

support desk. Students need to contact these support units immediately (If necessary).

c. Student Card: Remember to have your Student Number ready. Students are identified by their

Student Numbers NOT by names.

What Happens In The Event of a Mishap?

a. The Student will be able to log back in and continue the exam after a mishap has been

resolved.

b. The student will be able to continue from where he/she left off. The Student will be able to

start from the previous question before the technical issue (sudden breakdown of computer).

For example, if the student was on question 10 when the mishap happened, after the issue

has been resolved and the student logs back in, he/she will be able to start from question 9

(because probably question 10 had not been saved).

What Happens To My Duration After The Problem Has Been Solved?

No extra time will be added or given. No extension! The exam will begin and end promptly. So,

students should make sure they report any mishap immediately. In other NOT to lose time, students

must make sure previous precautionary measures mentioned at the beginning of this Guideline Sheet

(“REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EXAM”) are strictly adhered to (followed).

In other words, the duration of the exam will continue to count down, while the technical issue is

being resolved. So, use your time wisely and report any incident immediately.

GOOD LUCK!
