What Is Textile Industry

Thetextile industryis concerned with the design and production of yarn, cloth and their distribution. The raw material may be natural or synthetic.

Categories (w.r.t process)

Spinning textile: Spinning is the process by which fibers are converted into yarn.

Weaving textile: Weaving is the process of interlacement of warp and weft.

Dyeing textile: Dyeingis the process of adding color totextileproducts likefibers,yarns, andfabrics.

Weaving Textile Weaving is the action of producing fabric by the interlacing of warp and weft thread. The warp threads are placed along the length of the fabric and the weft threads are placed along the width of the fabric.
