    office and ablutions, site services)

    - 8,700tpa high purity alumina

    • Use of Direct Nickel (DNi) process (trademarked) –

    recycling of nitric acid (lower opex)

    • Ore supply chain established with New Caledonia

    • 289ha of land conditionally committed to project

    at Lansdown

    Next steps:

    • Definitive Feasibility Study by end of Q4 2020/2021

    • Development Application preparation underway

  • Edify Energy

    Majors Creek Solar Farm

    • Approved 200MWac (expandable to 800MWac over project life) solar farm

    o 4km from Precinct – low-cost, locally-generated, behind-the-meter power to

    industrial users

    o Battery storage and connection to the national network via 275kv (high

    voltage) Powerlink lines through site

    o MOUs in place with neighbouring Pure Minerals and Imperium3

    Project HyPER (Hydrogen Production from Electric Renewables)

    • A 10 MW electrolyser pilot plant (up to 1350 tonnes of hydrogen

    produced) with intent to prove technology and scale up to commercial

    production with a 50MW-200MW electrolyser facility (up to 27,000

    tonnes)

    • Over $500M combined capital investment for both projects

    Next steps:

    • Development application for private transmission network to Lansdown –

    lodgement early 2021

    • Further proof of concept and design of Project HyPER

    Hamilton Island Solar Project

  • Benefits

    Enabling the initial precinct users alone will unlock:

    • $4 billion - Value of private sector capital investment

    • 1400 - Direct Jobs

    • >9000 - Indirect jobs in upstream and downstream supporting

    industries regionally

    • Completion of DriveIT NQ which will inject over $1.4 billion into

    the NQ economy over the next 40 years when fully operational

    • Significant economies of scale by attracting further private

    investment in advanced manufacturing, hydrogen and high-tech

    processing facilities.
