TEAM CLUB PLAY

Handicap used will be based on GHIN/Handicomp Index, averaging your low index and current index as of June 1, 2019. All handicaps will be verified, and players must compete in the flight in which he or she is flighted.WSGA Handicap Chair has the right to re-rate a player based on their previous WSGA Annual Tournament history. If a player is re-rated, he or she will be notified prior to the start of the tournament. WSGA handicap committee has the right to monitor all competitors’ scores during the competition to protect the field & re-flight competitors if necessary.

Men and women will be flighted based on handicap (entries permitting).Senior flights for men and women 65 and older, will be flighted based on handicap (entries permitting).In order to be eligible for the Senior flight you must be 65 by Registration Deadline MAY 15, 2019.

To be eligible for team club play you must play in the 54-Hole Stroke play tournament and have a minimum of 5 players from your club. Once a common course has been established, 5 players from each club with the lowest net scores from the common course selected will determine the players competing for their club. Clubs may not substitute players once the original 5 players have been selected. Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s combined scores will determine the winner of team club play. USGA Section 3-5 will be used for scoring.

WSGA will have a 2 Day Senior Tournament for men and women seniors 65 and older. Members that sign up for the 2 Day Senior tournament will play Arrowood and Rancho Bernardo Inn golf courses on Thursday, June 27 and Saturday, June 29.

WSGA will have a 2 Day Tournament for higher handicap men and women players, 30 and above. The players will be playing Oaks North Golf Course Thursday, June 27 and Saturday, June 29. Players will have their own skins, sweepstakes, closest to the pin etc.
