Commissioning

Planning of the commissioning schedule is established during the

engineering phase where critical paths and shutdown philosophy is

analyzed and agreed upon. This information is then used to prepare a

commissioning execution and safety plan, along with startup

procedures incorporating Zero Incident start up techniques. Pre-

commissioning is conducted in a seamless succession following the

construction phase of the project before final commissioning and

performance testing.

Operation & Maintenance

TORTO Company Maintains field personnel, project sites and actively

supports them through our head office. Our highly experienced staffs are

able to access our engineering and logistical departments to identify

and procure long lead time and crucial spare parts to ensure minimum

CALCULATION AND DESIGN

All design drawings and schematics are completed to a high standard using AutoCAD

and EPLAN electrical software packages. Customer drawings can be completed on

their own company border if required and final issues are supplied upon completion

of contract. We design Medium Voltage Switchgear, Motor Control Center Panels,

Automatic Power Correction System, Auto Main Failure System, Instrumentation

Panels, PLC/DCS Panels, and Control Panels.

MANUFACTURING

• MEDIUM VOLTAGE PANELS

TORTO Company supply standard & custom medium voltage switch-gears.

Features include cabinet, door closures, interlocks, bus insulation & standoff

insulators, bus supports, section bus barriers & control circuit components, Switch-

gears are made up of metal-clad/metal-enclosed cabinets containing switches

or circuit breakers with air/gas/vacuum insulator.

• LOW VOLTAGE AC PANELS

TORTO Company supply Low voltage switch-gears energy distribution at each

level, as well as control and protection of electrical panels. The panels can be

used as primary or sectional switch-gears, or as control cabinets. Low voltage

switch-gear can be applied to the following industrial branches:

DESIGN

Employing the most experienced and skilled manpower and engineers, Design

Group of TORTO Company conducts designing activities of control and

protective sections of the company at two DCS and normal modes based on

world latest sciences and technologies of power industry from the beginning

up to finishing projects.

• Provision of basic documents and certificates including mono-linear

layouts, protective, control and telecom. diagrams, CT and VT calculations,

etc.

• Designing detailed-schematic layouts, obtained from basic documents

and certificates, and layouts for construction of power and control panels

through the application of the mentioned software packages.

• Provision of cabling tables and fittings between power panels through the

application of private cable software package of the company.

• Calculation of settings of protective relays and also configuration of them

through the application of software packages specific for each relay and

also testing protective and control functions of relays and fulfilling FAT and

SAT tests of control, telecommunications and DCS systems.

INSTALLATION

Investing hefty fund and training manpower in the field of installing equipment

and benefiting from the most powerful installing groups have been taken into

consideration since establishment of TORTO Company The said issue is

regarded as one of strong points of the company. Re-invigoration and

improvement of Installation Group was put atop agenda after expansion of

company and simultaneousness of projects at hand. Presently, all construction

operations are executed in the best way possible and in appropriate date. In

some projects, construction operations are even carried out in scheduled time.

Regarding the projects at hand, three installation groups with independent

staff and personnel and with necessary specialties are busy active at the

present time. Moreover, the three installation groups have been equipped with

necessary facilities and equipment, offering quality services under strict

supervision of Central Bureau (Executive Deputy Office). Thanks to the facilities

provided for them, each Installation Group enjoys capability of commissioning

many projects simultaneously.

TEST AND COMMISSIONING

TORTO Company engineers have extensive experience in the testing of

electrical systems and equipment in electrical including all types of generating

stations, substations (e.g. receiving, distribution, etc.). Our group of highly

qualified engineers has years of experience and expertise in the test and start-

up, and in general, in the commissioning of electrical, telecom, water and

waste water facilities along with the knowledge in sustainable testing process

and procedures. TORTO Company Engineers has also trained Operation and

Maintenance (O&M) personnel during test and start-up activities
