Single FM Wrench ControlThe TCV is ideal when the application calls for accuracy, re-peatability and simplicity of the SLTC-FM 2.4 GHz Switch Wrenches, and only a single tool at the station needs to be controlled. The TCV-FM provides verification to the operator on the quality of each use, plus DC 24V relays and I/O port for line controller communications (PLC).

TCV-FM detects proper use of the Switch Wrench via timer – like the PTV-FM, but without batch counting. Missing, over-torqueing and jerking of fasteners is eliminated, the error rate is reduced and the productivity is improved.

TCV-FM is for those who desire line integration of their manual torque tools but with less pre-processing. The TCV performs the comparison and communication functions required for ba-sic control, but without the stand-alone capabilities of the PTV.

Tool use specifications are easily programmed with sup-plied software through the 9-pin serial port.

Immediately informs operator via green/red LED‘s and buz-zer of proper (Accept) or improper (Reject) wrench use.

5 pin connector for use with DC 24V I/O system (PLC). Cy-cle Accept, Cycle Reject and Reset relays keep line control system informed of status at all time.

RS232 interface (incl. RJ-11 port) for PC communications.

Operates on either AC 110-120 or 220-240V.

Ethernet VersionThe TCV-Ethernet extends the capabilities of the TCV-FM by incorporating Ethernet communications using the Atlas Copco® Open Protocol. Users who need data via Ethernet as well as via 24 VDC I/O communications will find this the right controller for their single-tool applications.

Works with any ot the accurate and reliable SLTC-FM 2.4 GHz Switch Wrenches.

The OUR X-BEE/OUR X-BEE Pro 2.4 GHz transceiver pro-vides reliable bi-directional radio communications at up to 50‘ (≈16m).

Ethernet card and built-in compatibility with the Atlas Cop-co® Open Protocol.

Backlit 2-lines each 14 characters LCD, and simple menu ease programming.

Front panel green/red LED‘s and buzzer for Cycle Accept, Cycle Reject and Batch Complete for immediate operator feedback on each use of the wrench use.

Password protection to prevent unauthorized changes.

DC 24V I/O port with relays for ACC, REJ or Reset.

Serial port RS-232 (DE-9 null modem cable) for PC com-munications.

Output power: SLTC-FM = 1 mW; TCV = 10-60 mW.

Operates on either AC 110-120 or 220-240V.
