We have been fortunate to receive numerous photos from our customers showing their Torchmatemachines. The following pages show examples of bolt-together Torchmate 3 and 4' x 4' Small ShopMachines, as well as completed Torchmate 1, 2, and 3 kits. The second part of this file depicts someexamples of work performed by customers on their Torchmate Machines.
In exchange for sharing their photos with us, we feel an obligation to protect their privacy. We have a
policy of identifying only those customers who have volunteered to accept telephone calls from peo-ple who are considering a Torchmate purchase.

An overwhelming advantage of Torchmate is the great vari-ety of sizes in which we can supply it.
Bill Kunz Sr., president of Applied Robotics, Inc., keeps thispint-sized 18" x 24" capacity Torchmate 2 in a corner of hisgarage. When he wants to use it, he simply rolls it outsideand locks the casters in place. A wash tub makes a dandycontainer to catch the debris.

As large as this machine is, a ship building facility in Singaporehas an 8' x 40' Torchmate 3.

The photo on this and the following two pages showhow two customers have handled the exhausting of
plasma dust.
This Torchmate 1, shown nearing completion in thispicture, uses an owner-fabricated downdraft table, with an exhaust fan that will be connected to thefitting at the end of the table via ductwork. A traythat catches the cutting debris pulls out of the bot-tom of the opposite end.
We have no reports as to the effectiveness of his
approach, but it appears as though it should do thejob.

A Torchmate 3, purchased in kit form,is seen here cutting 4" thick steel platewith oxy-fuel in Minnesota.
The pointed material supports, whilegenerally less desirable than slats, were needed to keep the large torchtip from cutting all the way through thesupports.

Many customers position their plasma cutterhigher than the table surface to keep it awayfrom plasma dust. We have not experiencedany plasma cutter malfunctions specificallyattributable to plasma dust.
