September 2015 Gidday Folks Well here we are the 2015 Annual General Meeting is here upon us, firstly I would like to thank the Committee For their hard work and their support over the Year in organising activities and events for the Club. Don’t forget to check out our Facebook Site looks good, need more likes though. It is worth having a look at. The visit to the Haigh’s Chocolate Tour is on Friday 30th October, check the Trips and Social Page (13) We are already organising the Christmas Dinner and it looks like the Cobby Club is the place to be on Saturday the 28th of November—Check the Trips and Social Pages 13 for Accommodation, 14 for Menu & 15 for Things To Do in the Riverland for more information. The Committee has decided to subsidize each member $5.00 off the dinner cost, that’s full cost $26.00 Member cost $21.00. Next weekend Cheryl and I are going to do a recky of the Riverland ready for the 28th of November, we have put some ideas on page 15, but who knows what you want to do, please let us know at the AGM so we can check it out. Please step forward with your trip ideas to Noellene & Peter, as they are always looking for more input and wel-come your ideas and suggestions! PS. Remember a Club is only as good as its members, so become involved and become an active part! Please support the Sponsors who back the club, without their assistance and support, the Club fees would be quite a bit more expensive than they are at present, so please use their services, whenever the need arises! They do service other brands of vehicles, check them out, you may be surprised! One of our Prime Objectives should always be to promote the Club as a Responsible, Active, Environmental & Friendly Club, and proud of our 38 years, YES that’s right we are now into our 38th year and the Suzuki 4WD turns 43! Check the positions page (Page 5) to find out who is responsible for what, so if you have a gripe or a problem, please contact someone on the committee and let them know, (we don’t need scuttlebutt going around) we need to stop it before it gets out of hand and someone gets their feelings hurt or it damages the image of the Club!! Recipes.

Easy Tim Tam Cheesecake Bites. Ingredients.

1 Packet of Tim Tams

250 grams Philadelphia cream cheese .

300 grams Melting milk chocolate.

Method.

1 Take cream cheese out of fridge to soften up a little.

2 Put Tim Tams in a food processor to crush.

3 Mix cream cheese and tim tams together.

4 Roll into small balls and place into freezer for 30 minutes.

5 Melt the milk chocolate . Dip the frozen tim tam balls in the milk chocolate and aside to set .

Your grandkids will love 'em.

Subway Cookies.

Ingredients.

Serves : 18.

2 Cups [250g] self raising flour.

170 g butter, melted .

1 cup of brown sugar, firmly packed.

1/2 cup [110 g] white sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla essence

1 egg

1egg yolk

2 cups dark chocolate chips

Directions.

Prep 10 mins, cook 15 mins , extra time 15 mins , ready in 40 mins.

1 Pre heat oven to 165 degrees Celsius. Line two cookie trays with baking paper.

2 Sift flour , set aside .

3 In a medium bowl , cream together the melted butter , brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat

in the vanilla , egg and egg yolk until light and creamy . Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended.

4Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon . Drop big round tablespoon of dough onto the

prepared trays , leaving plenty of room for spreading .

5 Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven , or until the edges are lightly toasted . Cool on baking sheets

for a few minutes before transfering to wire racks to cool completely .

Sounds like it makes just enough for the meetings !!!!!!
