Topic 8 1. The manner means a way of doing something or the way in which a thing is done or happens. In my view , manners must be taught by parents and/or caregivers. Teaching manners can start whenever your little one is old enough to understand you which depends on their development.Firstly,is teach polite words early.Even two-year-olds can learn to say “please” and “thank you.” Even though they don’t yet understand the social graciousness of these words, the toddler concludes that “please” is how you get what you want and “thank you” is how you end an interaction. At least you’ve planted these social niceties into your child’s vocabulary; later they will be used with the understanding that they make others feel good about helping you. When you ask your toddler to give you something, open with “please” and close with “thank you.” Beside that as parents must teaching With Praise.Children react well to positive praise because they tend to seek parental approval. Whenever your child uses good manners and acts in a courteous manner praise their actions. Positive reinforcement goes a long way. In my opinion, parents should be role models to the children because parent most closely with children. Thanks !
