Fifth –generation wireless
(5G) is the latest iteration
of cellular technology ,
engineered to greatly
increase the speed and
response time of wireless
networks. With 5G, data
transmitted over wireless
broadband connections
could travel at rates as
high as 20Bbps. 5G will
also enable a sharp
increase in the amount of
data transmitted over
wireless systems due to
more available bandwidth
and advanced antenna
technology.
In addition to
improvements in speed,
capacity and latency, 5G
offers network
management features ,
among them network
slicing, which allows
operators to create
multiple virtual networks
within single physical 5G
network.
With 5G wireless
equipment standards
almost complete and the
first 5G-compliant
smartphones and
associated wireless
devices commercially
available in 2019, 5G
services will become
mainstream by 2030 and
are expected to range
from the delivery of
Virtual Reality (VR)
content to autonomous
vehicle navigation
enabled by real-time
communications
capabilities.
6 tips for
successful stress
management
Managing stress is a vital
skill to develop in this era.
1.Step back and put
the problem in
perspective
Try to take a step back and
ask yourself : Will this issue
still matter in a year ? In five
years ?If answer is NO , take
a deep breath and try to
move forward. Keeping
things in perspective is
crucial to managing stress.
2.List some solutions
and Come up with a
plan
If there’s a specific problem
you need to fix, make a list
of all possible solutions and
pick the best one for your
situation. Realizing that you
Plan will have a direct effect
on stress reduction.
Break the task into smaller
parts so you can try to
accomplish what you need to
in an hour, a day and then
next week so the problem
becomes manageable.
3.Accept those things
beyond your control
Some circumstances are
simply beyond our control,
and we have to learn to cope
with and accept them.
Fortunately, you do have
control over how to react to
stressful situations. Staying
calm and being willing to
accept emotional support
from others can help in
managing stress.
4.Give yourself a break
Daily stressors can creep up
on you before you realize it
,so treat yourself to at least
one relaxing activity every
day. Taking time for yourself
is important for both
preventing and managing
stress.
Listening to music ,
meditating, writing , writing
in a journal are all great ways
to relax and relieve stress.
5.Try to get some regular
exercise every day
Exercise is one of the best
methods for managing stress
because it can relieve both
the physical and emotional
effects of stress. Exercise can
help regulate and dissipate in
a productive way those ‘ fight
or flight’ stress chemicals in
the brain’
6.Resolve issues before
they become crises
It’s human nature to avoid
unpleasant topics and
circumstances , but if you’re
concerned about a brewing

THE 5G ERA New age of
Transportation With the advent of new techonology such
as IoT , Machine learning and sensored
networks the field of automobile is also not
untouched .Given the current rate of
technological development, the advent of
self-driving cars is inevitable. Is this a
blessing or a curse ?
The players in the self-driving car market
are diverse: traditional car manufacturers
like Nisaan, Audi and Mercedes and new
companies such as Tesla, Google’s Waymo
and Uber are all competing to develop the
first fully autonomous self-driving car.
Essentially , a self-driving car needs to
perform three actions to be able to replace
a human driver :
To perceive
To think
To act
A self-driving car’s “Sight” or perception is
achieved via several mechanisms. Cameras
are installed on the roof and in other places
around the car for 360° vision.
Self-driving cars also have high tech sensors
, called LIDAR(Light Detection and
Ranging) is a device with a constantly
rotating laser beam. It sends invisible pulses
all around it. By measuring the travel time
and location of the reflected laser light, it
can discriminate the shape and location of
surrounding objects.
The sensors then send all the information
they perceive to the “brain” of the car. The
“brain” of a self-driving car is a powerful
computer that often sits in the trunk and
controls the car’s thoughts and actions. By
use of GPS it initially has a rough idea of
the route it must follow to get to a
destination. This is not enough , however ,
to navigate along a busy street.
Once the computer has determined which
objects surround the car and how far
away they are, it must decide how to act
and then execute its decision. It then
sends electronic commands to controllers
that turn the steering wheel and control
the throttle and brakes.
Once they are fully developed, self-
driving cars will potentially have a huge
positive impact on our safety and lifestyle
.The high-tech vision system has the
potential to outperform humans in
detecting dangerous situations.Unlike
distracted or drunk drivers, self-driving
cars always operate at maximum ability.
Given these advantages we are still stages
behind fully autonomous vehicle due to
the inaccuracy of current GPS system to
the millimeters.The given condition of
roads and traffic rules also make it
difficult for this technology to come on
roads.
However, since all technology brings
with it its disadvantages, self-driving are
also prone to drawbacks such as loss of
driving related jobs, it may also result in
increase of traffic on the roads since cars
are driving themselves.
Possibilty of automotive hacking also
makes it prone to large number of
accidents on the roads.
Self-driving cars anexciting new
technology that has the potential to
deeply transform transportation, making
it safer and improving our quality of life.
In order to operate, self-driving cards rely
on high-tech devices, powerful computers
and advanced algorithms. In.
the next few years, we should expect a
tight race in the development of the first
fully autonomous car
