Founded in 1986, the Abita Brewing Company is a

privately owned and operated located 30 miles north of

New Orleans. In its first year, the brewery produced

1,500 barrels of beer. By 1994, Abita outgrew the origi-

nal site and moved up the road to a larger facility (with

a 100-seat brew pub) to keep up with demand.

Abita brews over 151,000 barrels of beer and 9,100 bar-

rels of root beer in a state-of-the-art brewing facility.

NOLA Brewing – New Orleans Lager & Ale – repre-

sents the creation of refreshing high-quality beer in the

heart of New Orleans. Located in the Irish Channel, we

provide locally produced products and are sensitive to

the taste, look, and feel of great beer. Founded in 2008

by Kirk Coco & Peter Caddoo, NOLA Brewing is provid-

ing quality lagers and ales for you to enjoy.
