Number 5: Immerse yourself into “Old Florida” on our 35 miles of trails. You may even get to see Gold Head State Park’s Legendary Moss Man.
Number 6: Take in our rich military history by visiting our two military museums: Military Museum of Northeast Florida and the Camp Blanding Museum. You’ll also want to visit the TAPS Memorial in the Historic Triangle of Green Cove Springs to pay your respects to Clay County’s Veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Number 7: Immerse yourself in the arts at the Thrasher-Horne Center’s concerts, galleries and more. We are, after all, home to Augusta Savage, the African-American Harlem-Renaissance artist and sculptor, home of the legendary Southern Rock bands Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet and more.
