Relax, I’m up!” “Where were you last night?”, Asia asks. “What do you mean: ‘where was I?’” Asia: “Well, we kinda lost you right after Hardwell started. I thought we had agreed that after half of his set we’d move on to see a bit of Jamie Jones so that, afterwards, we could return for Steve Aoki? In between it seems that you had wandered off.” “Oh that,” Lorena says with a rather meaningful, naughty look on her face. “I met this girl… And she was awesome! We went to drink Belgian beers together and…” They suddenly hear a loud yawn coming from Lorena’s tent. Apparently the mystery girl had herself a bit of a sleepover!

Who hasn’t ever pictured themselves as protagonists of a comic book or an action movie? Saving people in danger, fighting against evil and spreading the good everywhere is one of the oldest and most seductive ideas ever. In the world of music, there are very few examples of great personalities that inspire us with their exemplary trajectories of success, especially those where love is the core element. Dutchman Oliver Heldens is a great recent example of the unmatchable power that music beats can pull out of us. He spent his adolescence listening to artists of the likes of Fedde Le Grand, Laidback Luke and Sander Van Doorn, which made him passionate and motivated to start producing his own songs: “It was around 2012 that I started listening to Disclosure, Dusky and these new sounds blended with my musical baggage leading me to feel even more inspired and I ended up finding my own music, that sounded like me.” Hits like “Gecko” stemmed from this phase, leaving Oliver’s bedroom studio to land directly on dance floors across the globe. Currently, he is one of the great new talents shaking the dance floors in places like Tomorrowland Brasil. Such a huge transformation fits like a glove in the concept of the Super You & Me dance floor, presented by Laidback Luke: “Everyone gets to be a superhero; I love this concept in a party like this one: it’s great to dress up, we all incorporate a new character and it’s so much fun. Today, for example, I’m going to play dressed up as a Ninja Turtle. I’d say that I’m more of a “Gecko mutant ninja”. Before performing in a costume, Oliver took the opportunity to thank his Brazilian fans: “I’m so happy to be here. Brazilian people are so special and they transmit so much energy! I want to say thank you to all of those who have supported me!”

“It’s not only the DJs that can feel like super heroes: the audience also needs to absorb this idea.” That’s how Laidback Luke explains the concept behind Super You & Me, a party that he idealized where artists and the audience take their imagination above and beyond by wearing costumes and incorporating characters. “Since I was a child, I’ve always wanted to be a super hero and learned that everyone has their heroic side: whether they’re a doctor or a pastry chef, any person that is passionate about what they do is powerful. Love is capable of turning all of us into super heroes,” says Luke. Artists and audience in perfect wavelength and dressed for the occasion filled up the dance floor during the entire day and night.

“Brazilians are demanding when it comes to barbecues. They always want steak, chicken and sausages,” says Anderson Romero. Aiming for practicality, he substituted rump steak with filet mignon skillets.

“The steaks are smoked for 14 hours at low temperature until they fall apart,” says Gustva Bottino, who couldn’t resist and took a bite off the pulled pork sandwich, a southern American tradition.

“I make the marinara paella,” says good-humored Spanish chef, Paco Salas. “I only use clams and seafood, no chicken or pork.” In his opinion, more than the traditional paella, this is a noble interpretation of the dish.

“We created something new because Tomorrowland is new in Brazil,” says Carlos Henrique. Salmão, Shimeji mushrooms, rice, cream cheese and spring onions stuff the traditional cone-shaped Japanese delicacy.

Valdirene Luz heads the only food truck around and says that the audience prefers the special crispy taco, stuffed with ground beef, chili and Mexican steak and chicken.

Hidden between the stages you’ll find the Gourmet Experience, where Vinicius Rojo created a colorful dish entitled Wonderland, including leeks, Parma ham and vegetables. “There’s also a delightful explosion of sugar!”

This dynamic duo never fails to impress as they currently sit at the 2nd spot on DJ Magazine’s annual poll of the Top 100 DJs.

Brothers Dimitri Thivaios and Michael Thivaios began DJing at the young ages of 14 and 15 years old. After dabbling in different club scenes via tours and and residencies in their early years, the brothers reunited in Belgium in 2006 to create and release their first single as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike - “Cocaine / Eivissa.” After impressing Axwell with Dimitri’s remix of “Work That Body” in 2008, the brothers got the green light to remix “Rotterdam City of Love” for Axwell’s label Axtone.

In 2010, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike made their grand debut as the hosts of Tomorrowland. Every year since then, the beautiful creators of Tomorrowland have entrusted the brothers with making the official anthem of the festival. The first anthem they created and released on their own label Smash the House was “Tomorrow (Give Into The Night)” with Dada Life and Tara McDonald. The following year, they teamed up with Afrojack and Nervo for the single “The Way We See The World,” which became the 2011 Tomorrowland anthem.

The 2012 anthem was “Tomorrow Changed Today,” and the 2013 anthem “Chattahoochee” made it to the Beatport Chart Top 1 within three days of its release on Smash The House and Spinnin’ Records. For last year’s edition, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike collaborated with W&W to create the epic anthem “Waves.”

The two DJs are currently working on a new album featuring massive collabs with the likes of Major Lazer and Martin Garrix that is slated to release this summer 2015. When they are not making music or serving as masters of ceremony, you can find the brothers enjoying a couple of their favorite things - comic books and the hip hop music of Eminem. When talking about their favorite rapper, both brothers have divulged that working with Eminem would be their dream collaboration.

SynSUN is the psytrance project initiated in 1998 by Ukrainian artist Evgeniy Riabinin. Throughout his 17-year-long career, he released five albums and over thirty tracks. He achieved great success with remixes and tracks produced collaboratively with artists such as Infected Mushroom, Skazi, Eskimo and Ticon. He has played in major festivals, including but not limited to: Tomorrowland Belgium, Boomerang NYE and National Liberty. There is no doubt that psy lovers are anxiously anticipating his performance at Tomorrowland Brasil.

The Metanol FM radio station was the channel through which he actually began to incorporate sounds that went beyond house and techno. He performed at the Boiler Room Brazil in 2014 and currently splits his time between producing, DJing and live PA. Moreover, he is also a member of the record label, Beatwise.

Trazendo a tona synths criados analogicamente que abusam do bass pesado, da quebrada característica do dubstep e de pitadas de trap, foi no Metanol FM que passou a incorporar de fato outras sonoridades além do house e techno. A mix of explosive beats and melodic techno is the tone set by the music of Dutch star Olivier Weiter – the WEITER sound. The DJ established his name in the underground scene in the Netherlands and Europe as a whole by playing in festivals such as Mysteryland and Time Warp, as well as clubs like Paradiso (Amsterdam) and Pacha (Ibiza). In this new passage through Brazil, the WEITER sound will be set loose from subterranean rooms and tested on the overwhelming grandeur of Tomorrowland Brasil’s stages.
