EMPLOYMENT HISTORY Bar Tender, Metro Inns (Suffolk) Masons Arms, Bury St Edmunds May 2015 – Present day General Manager, Metro Inns (Suffolk) The Maids Head, Kings Lynn September 2014 – May 2015 In this position, it was my responsibility to ensure the smooth running of a recently acquired, large town pub in a new demographic area for the company. It successfully ran as a music venue until the end of December 2014. In January 2015, the entire business was closed for a £250,000 refit; undergoing a complete brand restructure as a real Ale, casual dining pub with seating for up to 125 covers and an outside area. My input was pivotal during these planning and development stages. In this position, it was my responsibility to ensure the smooth running of a recently acquired, large town pub in a new demographic area for the company. Hobbies/Interests: Music, playing pool, good food and wine, spending time with friends and family, travelling, scuba diving, swimming, horse riding, golf, keeping fit.

In 2004 I was part of a World Challenge Team visiting Vietnam for five weeks. In order to do this I had to raise, with my other team members, £4000 and get my fitness level up to be able to cope with the difficult terrain we would be trekking in. For two weeks we trekked through the country, staying in local villages. During the third week we helped build a school for local children. During this time I was team leader for two days when I had to delegate jobs to members of my team ensuring everyone was involved in each stage of the project. I thoroughly enjoyed this and it helped nurture a mature and responsible attitude.
