SENIORS
FCCLA sponsors the Flowers for Graduation. Each Sen-
ior will receive one (1) free flower for graduation. If the
Student wants more flowers, they must pay for
them. Mrs. Raybon will begin taking orders for the flow-
ers on April 3, 2018. Student must go to Mrs. Raybon be-
fore school, during activity period or after school. Or-
ders will not be taken during class time. Orders will be
taken through May 25, 2018. No orders will be taken af-
ter that date.

Expressions, Wednesday -- Revisit Topics of continuous and discrete as well as exponential functions and
equations. Thursday -- Test (this test can replace Test 1, if better). Friday -- End-of-course review.
Advanced Geometry -- Continue working on Circles all week -- tangents, secants, and chords. We will have a
Test on Part 1 of Circles on Wednesday.

Chemistry will do the ideal gas law lab and then review. They will test over gas laws on Thursday.
Advanced Biology will finish kingdoms and food chains. They will test over kingdoms on Tuesday and begin
discussing plants for the rest of the week.
Human A&P will continue discussing the nervous system. They will focus on the central nervous system.
They will then begin their brain project.
Advanced Chemistry will finish colligative properties with the ice cream lab project. They will then begin dis-
cussing acids and bases.

tivity period.
Academic Awards night is scheduled for May 24, 2018. Food will be available from 6 pm till 7 pm. The awards
program will begin promptly at 7 pm.
Culinary Students are required to be at the Academic Awards Night to set out the food, serve the food and to
clean up from the food. These students should be at the school by 5:30. This event counts for their Semester
Exam grade. The grade includes prep, set up and serving, and clean up.

the end of the year project that is a News Cast, each group will cover a different portion of
the News.
Financial Math/Statistics - We will finish up the Tax and Tax Calculations lesson and move
on to the Debt and Bankruptcy. In the Debt and Bankruptcy lesson they will learn to de-
scribe what debt is and identify the various types of debt and bankruptcy, to differentiate
between good debt and bad debt, to analyze the different social and economic conse-
quences of bankruptcy, to identify the sources and consequences of excessive debt, to
learn various strategies to avoid debt and bankruptcy, and to analyze debt to income ra-
tios.
