Look for yourname on the Comput-erized Voters List post-

Bring docu-ments that can estab-

lish your identityshould it be chal-lenged. A barangay orcommunity tax certifi-cate is not acceptable.

Follow the BEIchairs instructionson how to fill out theballot.

Make sure theBEI chair affixeshis/her signature onthe EDCVL (ElectionDay Computerized

Voters List) after veri-fying that your finger-nail is not stained

with indelible ink.

Check thathe/she authenticates

your ballotby affixinghis/her signature inthe designated spaceon the ballot.

Make sure theBEI chair inserts theballot in the secrecyfolder with the front

covered, except for theportion with his/hersignature, before it isgiven to you. Only theBEI chair can issue bal-lots and you can onlyget one ballot.

Mark the ballotonly with the penprovided by the Com-mission on Elections.

Fully shade theovals beside thenames of your candi-dates. Erasures andstray marks maycause the PCOS ma-chine to reject theballot.

If the ballot isrejected by the PCOSmachine during scan-ning, you mayreinsertit. However, if the bal-lot gets rejected afterthree more tries, youshould return it to theBEI chair.

If the ballot is

rejected, make surethe BEI chair marksthe back of the ballotrejected and mem-bers of the board signit before it is put inthe envelope for re-

jected ballots. No re-placement ballot willbe issued.

Put your objec-tions, if any, in writ-ing, regarding rejec-

tion of your ballot.

The board will attachyour objections to theminutes.

Put your thumbmark on the EDCVLbefore leaving thepolling place.

Dont speak toanyone in the pollingprecinct except mem-bers of the BEI.

Dont bring theballot, secrecy folderor marking pen out-side the polling place.
